This pattern is perfect for using up leftover yarn and crocheting a pretty skirt in any size.
  • The amount of yarn needed varies depending on the size of the skirt. I crocheted this skirt for my 4-year-old daughter and used a total of 130 g of yarn.
  • Crochet hook size 3

Especially with small amounts of leftover yarn, it’s often hard to use them in a meaningful way, but they’re too good to throw away! If you still have leftovers in Christmas colors like red, green, white, black, and gold, you can crochet these beautiful egg cozies from them. It’s fun, quick, and easy, and during Advent you’ll always have a little something ready to bring along as a small gift.

For this pretty little wall or window wreath (only 12 cm in diameter), you can use leftover yarn in a wide variety of shades. I opted for a simple white and various shades of pink, but you can also make it very colorful—that looks great, too.
The wreath is incredibly easy to crochet. Besides the yarn, you’ll need a Styrofoam wreath and maybe a few beads.

You can also knit a hat from leftover yarn,

the pattern states exactly how many meters of
each color you need,
it is knitted with a size 7 set of double-pointed needles

knitted with thinner yarn, it becomes a child's hat,
as it automatically turns out smaller.

            here is the pattern:

Funny Baby Kittens

Anyone who has a little kitten knows these little "rascals" can be a lot of fun. They’re especially fond of balls of yarn. Even if it can sometimes be a bit annoying when you’re crocheting or knitting and suddenly your ball of yarn "grows legs" and runs away.

These little kittens won’t disturb you while you’re crafting; they’re fun to look at, as decorations or little gifts, and they’re sure to put a smile on your face.

The detailed and richly illustrated pattern makes it easy even for beginners to bring these little kittens to life. They’re quick to crochet; a few leftover bits of yarn, a little stuffing, and a pair of safety eyes are all you need, and before you know it, these sweet little babies will keep you company while you craft without stealing your yarn.

You can download these little kittens here
