Autumn scatter decorations for Oktoberfest season! You can do so much with these Alpine crochet appliqués: they embellish hats, belts, and bags, can be pinned to a lapel with brooch pins, or make wonderful scatter decorations for the beer festival.
They are super easy to make. You only need a few tiny scraps in the matching colors.
Get the pattern right here!<\/a>

Warning! Kiki is going after your nuts! Don’t worry—this cute little squirrel is crocheted and can’t do any harm. But it does make for a fun fall decoration.
You can easily crochet it yourself. You’ll need cotton yarn (Catania), fringed yarn (Peppina), stuffing, and safety eyes.
 And here is the pattern!

The little hedgehog egg cozy also makes a great fall decoration :-)
Click here for the crochet pattern

What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 12g of yarn/wool in brown (e.g., Cotone fine by Lana Grossa, 100% cotton). Scraps in beige or light brown. Your yarn should definitely be suitable for a 2mm crochet hook
  • 2mm crochet hook
  • stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle, stitch markers
  • 6mm safety eyes, black thread for embroidering the nose and eyebrows
Difficulty level: easy to intermediate; you should definitely have some crocheting experience and be able to do the following: make a magic ring, increase and decrease single crochet stitches, sew on the various parts, single crochet, slip stitches, chain stitches. I explain in detail at the beginning of the pattern how to crochet the bumps that represent the spines. The pattern is 12 pages long and includes pictures showing everything step by step. I also show you how to sew on the individual parts with pictures.

And here are my little flowers, very well suited for leftover wool-cotton-mohair yarn.

The topic of crocheted flowers is very popular because they can be used in so many ways, as decoration on clothing (sweater, scarf, hat, etc.) or on bags. The detailed pattern consists of 32 pages, is documented with numerous photos, and is in German. (Instruction in German with many photos). The beautiful flower pattern has an easy difficulty level and should not be a problem for a beginner. The following basic crochet skills should be known: slip stitch, chain stitch, yarn over. You will need: • yarn (e.g., cotton, wool, mohair) • crochet hook size 1.75 - 2.0 • optional: acrylic beads or rocailles • sewing needle • matching sewing thread.
