Wool Room Projects

Dear users, dear authors,
so that you don’t get bored here in the forum, can finish your UFOs, reduce your yarn stash and buy more, and finish Christmas gifts, here is the current project list:

September
September 25 to October 22/23: Destash yarn and become a Yarn Emperor/Empress

October
October 16–22/23: UFO Week + end of the Yarn Emperor/Empress project
October 23: Yarn Emperor/Empress project starts again

November
November 13–19/20: UFO Week + end of the Yarn Emperor/Empress project

December
1st Sunday of Advent until the last minute before Christmas: Heavenly Wool Room (suggestion by Mowi19): finish Christmas gifts

“Between Christmas and New Year”: Hopefully there will be time for more extensive projects. We’ll start collecting ideas for these in November, and there will also be a thread for presenting the projects

UFO Week

When the “Wool Room” mentions the 1st Sunday of Advent (which is Dec. 3 this year), does that mean we’re supposed to take photos of all the Christmas gifts we’ve finished by then?
Or that we’re supposed to have all our Christmas gifts finished by then? Though I’m sure I won’t manage that....

I don’t have a dedicated “Wollstube”—my living room is a total yarn mess, and when guests come over, it all gets hidden behind or inside the couch.
Though I could take a picture of that, too. Yarn everywhere, and right in the middle of it all lies the dog, trying once again to eat one of my balls of yarn when he thinks I’m not looking.....

for everyone who is already working on things. The Christmas Wool Room from the 1st Sunday of Advent until Christmas is only for finishing up.
You can do it. One step at a time. Then it will all come together.

After the yarn stash reduction project, we’ll need a yarn stash building project, right? Otherwise, we’ll all be left high and dry ;-) 

I’m betting on the Christmas gifts.
Many of you will be getting yarn.
If you don’t use up your existing yarn first, where is all that new yarn you’ll receive supposed to go?

I know how it goes with you guys. :-)

But we can also build up our yarn stash. I’m flexible on that.
