Red is in, and checks are in, so checks in red are doubly in. This warm winter hat combines both.

You can find the pattern here.

It is knitted with wool that has a yardage of 114 m per 50 g. For most sizes, one ball of each color is enough; only for the very largest size should you plan on an additional ball in red.
The check pattern is shown in a knitting chart.

Millennial pink combined with a somewhat stronger shade of red creates a fascinating scarf that impresses with its shape alone.

Here’s the pattern.

An elongated “V” that continues in the color design, knitted from sock yarn. The pattern may look complicated, but you’ll get the hang of it quickly. Basically, the whole scarf consists only of knit stitches.

Ankle-high shoes are great for showing off colorful socks. Besides, you need them if you don’t want to wear boots in the freezing-cold winter—ask your mother!

So—how about a pair of socks?

These knitted socks have a clever slipped-stitch pattern that is especially good for showing off hand-dyed sock yarns. Of course, you can also use solid-colored yarns, no problem.

This adorable short-sleeved crochet cardigan for (baby) girls looks simply wonderful in pastel colors! It’s a great piece of clothing for the transitional season, when a thick sweater is still too much, but a long-sleeved shirt or jersey dress is often not quite enough. It also adds a little flair to any simple outfit!
