Crochet Pattern Scoodie "Wave "

--> Click here for the pattern

By now it’s cold outside, and it’s time again for warmer clothing, such as a hat and scarf. The scoodie with the wavy pattern is both in one and a must-have for fall and winter. Thanks to the thick yarn, the scoodie can be finished in one evening

The pattern includes a crochet chart, written instructions, and photos, making it very easy to recreate this practical scoodie. With the specified yarn, the scarf will be approx. 2.50 m long and can be lengthened/shortened as desired.

Difficulty level: Easy

What you need

Rellana Caprice Big (100% acrylic – recommended needle size 10 – 200 g = 120 m yardage) Two colors (e.g., red and gray), two skeins each (gray approx. 400 g/red approx. 300 g), hook size 10, yarn needle, and scissors

What you need to know:

chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and treble crochet stitches, crab stitches (single crochet worked backwards)

The Barbie dirndl is the perfect project for a weekend, because you'll finish it in that time without any problems!
Oktoberfest starts in Munich on Saturday. So of course Barbie wants to be dressed in proper traditional style, too! In her dirndl with traditional hat, handbag, and choker, she cuts a fine figure. And of course she'll have the obligatory "little heart for her sweetheart" as well.
Thin cotton yarn with a yardage of 165 m/50 g was used for the dirndl. You'll need crochet hooks in 3 sizes: 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, 3.5 mm. The sleeves of the blouse were crocheted on so that the dress is easier to put on.

Get the pattern right here and then you can get started!

Autumn is slowly making itself felt, and now is the time to get ready for the cooler season. Over the weekend, you can make great progress on a warm scarf.

What do you think of it?

My original is made from an alpaca-wool blend with a yardage of 130m per 100g, knitted on 5.5mm needles. You’ll want to use something of a similar weight, though the amount of yarn needed will, of course, depend on the desired length.
The scarf features seed-stitch ribbing combined with diamond lace motifs. A knitting chart is included.

Wrist warmers can easily be finished in a weekend, especially when they’re knitted like these from leftover sock yarn. Approx. 90 m is enough for one pair.

You can find the pattern here.

They have a cheeky little lace pattern that is explained in a photo tutorial. There is also a knitting chart and row-by-row instructions. Yes, that’s right, they are knitted in rows, not in the round.

If you’re already getting ready for Halloween, you might find a knitted ghost quite useful.

Here you can find the pattern.

This ghost is worked onto a double-knitted potholder. You’ll need cotton in two different colors and knitting needles that are slightly smaller than those recommended for your yarn. The technique isn’t exactly easy—beginners, hands off!
The ghost is shown in a knitting chart.

These little gnomes can be crocheted quite casually on the side. And they also serve several very useful purposes. They can be crocheted as an Advent calendar or used to hold your knitting and crochet supplies. They also make great egg cups. Especially now in the run-up to Christmas, when Secret Santa is popular everywhere, they are a lovely gift for young and old alike.

The pattern is written to be absolutely beginner-friendly and is supplemented with lots of photos. You only need these basic skills:

  • single crochet, slip stitch, and chain stitch
  • decreasing and increasing stitches
  • crocheting in rounds/spirals
  • Plus: sewing on buttons and felt, and basic embroidery skills for the mouth and nose
  • The pattern explains exactly how to make the magic ring.

Making this Advent calendar is just the right activity for the weekend – without long interruptions, it’s finished quickly, and starting Monday you can already begin filling it with nice, pretty, tasty, or useful things.

The calendar is made from photo cardboard and measures approx. 28 x 4.5 x 32 cm. The individual boxes measure approx. 4.5 x 4.5 x 7.8 cm - because they are glued in just one spot and otherwise held together with the tuck-in tabs, they are very easy and quick to craft.

Well, how about this:
Crochet pattern for scarf/cowl and headband PLAYFUL in a simple shell pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

The scarf can also be sewn together and worn as a cowl (wrapped twice around the neck), basically in every season . Add the matching hairband, and you have a pretty (gift) set.

Experienced crocheters can crochet both quickly in one weekend.

I made the set with cotton yarn, here using Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo, 50% cotton / 50% viscose,50 g – 120 m, needle size according to the label 3 - 4, crochet hook size 4.0 used here; gauge according to the label 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Alternative yarns (e.g. Merino Extrafine 120 by Schachenmayr) should be selected according to the details above.

Yarn requirements / finished measurements:

  • 150 g for the scarf/cowl: approx. 14 cm x 140 cm – length variable
  • 50 g for the headband - size variable
The 8-page PDF pattern includes photos, but requires the following basic crochet skills:
chain stitches, double crochet, single crochet, crocheting in rows. A link with explanations of the basic skills is included in the PDF.

Difficulty level: easy – also suitable for advanced beginners.

Always an eye-catcher, both in summer and in winter!
The fringe adds that special something!

The pattern gives this stole a compelling elegance—yet, with the right combination, it can just as easily be worn casually.

A detailed description (row by row) guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, the pattern also includes a crochet chart.
The pattern also contains a illustrated step-by-step explanation for making the fringe.

The measurements are approximately: length: approx. 145 cm (without fringe), width: approx. 55 cm
