Not quite chestnut, but very close. Golden brown and, knitted in merino wool, wonderfully soft too, this stole is just right for cool fall days.

You can find the pattern here.

The stole is knitted lengthwise and has a simple lace and cable pattern (knitting chart included). Basically, you can use any yarn for it—my original is made from merino with a yardage of 105 m per 50 g. The amount needed depends on the desired size.

As gray as a rainy autumn day is this triangular shawl, which is knitted from sock yarn. The lace pattern also resembles raindrops.

You can find the pattern here.

This shawl can be knitted in any size. Even with 1 skein of sock yarn, you can achieve a reasonable size. The pattern is written out row by row and also shown in knitting charts.

A light brown-beige scarf, knitted with ribbing and slip-stitch cables.

The pattern is available here.

Slip-stitch cables are much easier than they look. You can knit them without a cable needle at all.
For materials, you’ll need yarn with a yardage of 300m per 100g and 3.5mm knitting needles.

What comes to mind when we think of chestnut brown? Well, of course: chestnuts! The “Flower Child Chestnut” is an original fall decoration. It’s about 12 cm tall, and thanks to the integrated pipe cleaner wire, its arms and legs can be moved into different positions. It wears a cape made of chestnut leaves and a chestnut shell as a hat. And it can play wonderfully with the crocheted chestnuts.

Crochet pattern + knitting pattern
Soul warmer and cuffs - crocheted to look knitted - easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

One size - quick and easy

Whether crocheted or knitted: a cozy piece like this is useful all year round, whether on cool summer days, as an outdoor jacket in the transitional season, or on the couch in winter.

And yes, the crochet pattern looks knitted and is just as cozy and soft.
But knitters will also get their money’s worth. The stitch pattern is very similar.

The PDF pattern is detailed and illustrated across 23 pages and includes both the crochet pattern and the knitting pattern for the soul warmer and the arm/leg warmers.

The stitches used are explained with pictures. So basic crochet or knitting skills are enough.

Basically, you can use any yarn you like. However, the amount of yarn can vary greatly depending on your yarn choice and needle/hook size. Details are included in the pattern. My yarn consumption when using an alpaca yarn, 50 g – 100 m, according to the label for needle size 3 – 4, but used here: crochet hook size 8.0

  • for the soul warmer approx. 500 g in the crochet version
(approx. 800 g in the knitted version with needles size 6.0),
  • for the cuffs approx. 100 g in both versions

Hedgehog Egg Cozy Crochet Pattern
Click here for the crochet pattern

What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 12g of yarn in brown (e.g. Cotone fine by Lana Grossa, 100% cotton). Scraps in beige or light brown. Your yarn should definitely be suitable for a 2mm crochet hook
  • 2mm crochet hook
  • stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle, stitch marker
  • 6mm safety eyes, black thread for embroidering the nose and eyebrows
Difficulty level: medium-easy; you should definitely already have some crochet experience and be able to do the following: make a magic ring, increase and decrease single crochets, sew on the various parts, single crochet, slip stitch, chain stitch. At the beginning of the pattern, I explain in detail how to crochet the bobbles that represent the spikes. Length: 12 pages of crochet instructions with pictures showing everything step by step. I also show you how to sew on the individual parts with pictures.

A wonderfully light—but still very warm poncho thanks to the camel hair.

The technique is basically kept simple—but the small cable border adds the finishing touch!
The snowmen worked in with beadwork technique (of course replaceable with other charms) also look very pretty and at the same time serve as weights, ensuring a clean drape.

This pattern is designed for sizes 38/40.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to work any size!

A detailed description guides you through the entire knitting process.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

A beautiful combination consisting of a hat, cowl, and wrist warmers in merino quality.
Worked in a simple yet sophisticated lace pattern.

The hat is designed for a head circumference of approx. 50–53 cm.
The cowl has a circumference of approx. 80 cm.
The length of the wrist warmers is about 16 cm.

A detailed description guides you through the entire knitting process.
For clarification, you will find 3 knitting charts in the pattern.
Gauge is listed as always—for any adjustments!

And here’s the pattern and more details...
