Dear users, dear authors,
in the shop we have thousands of patterns for animals of all kinds. They are all sweet, nice, entertaining and well behaved. Well, okay, every now and then one of them may play a prank on someone, crack a few quirky jokes and slip away at night to party and celebrate. By breakfast, though, they’re back home. Protectors, guardians, cuddly toys for children, comforters + snuggle blankets for babies and dream catchers don’t do that, of course. When they’re on duty at night, they stay on the job.

Mod tip: Keychains, bag charms and generally charms as well as appliqués like going to the park, by the way. Just take them along next time.

But you have to admit that all of them are always colorful and decorative. And it’s simply fun to make them.
Get started now.

@Authors,
2-3 patterns per author are enough.
Don’t forget the link and image, plus the usual information.

Kiki, the little red squirrel with the bushy tail, really wants to live with you! After all, you’re sure to always have a few nuts or something else to nibble on at home; then Kiki won’t have to go looking for them herself...
Kiki is about 12–14 cm tall and is crocheted using cotton yarn (125 m/50 g) with a 2.5 mm crochet hook. For the tail, you’ll need about 20 g of fringed yarn. Kiki is crocheted using only single crochet stitches. The pattern for the acorns is included, of course.

Lily is an elegant flamingo lady who takes great care of her appearance. To stay that beautiful bright pink, she eats a serving of red crayfish every day and drinks carrot juice with it!
You can easily crochet Lily using just a few leftovers of yarn (Catania cotton and Lenja fluffy yarn), because you only need single crochet and slip stitches.
To help Lily stand securely on her long, slender legs, she needs a cork or cardboard disc for support, to which she is attached.
A beautiful decoration!

Crochet pattern Hulda, the friendly garden spider - great for a weekend

---> This way to the pattern

Toward the end of summer, they come out of every corner again and can be found on every bush - GARDEN SPIDERS. Personally, I have a panicky fear of spiders, so as a bit of self-therapy I designed this little, friendly spider together with its web :) With a spider like this in the house, I can live with it :)

Hulda is very easy to crochet and can also be made by beginners with a little practice.

Difficulty level: Easy

What you’ll need:

Gründl Happy yarn (250 m per 100 g) (beige – approx. 50 - 60 g - , Gründl Lisa yarn 20-30 g dark brown, a little black, 30 – 40 g white and a little red)
stuffing
either buttons or googly eyes
needle size 3.5, yarn needle and scissors

What you need to know
:

chain stitches, single crochet and half double crochet

Lenny and Leana, the Wobbly Lions
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

You should know how to: work single crochet stitches, increase and decrease single crochet stitches, sew on individual parts, work slip stitches, and make a magic ring. What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 60g of yarn in yellow/beige or orange, depending on what color you want your lions to be. My boy is made from Schoeller Stahl’s Zimba Medium in color 0218. The girl is also made from Schoeller Stahl’s Zimba Medium in color 0022. The yarn recommends using a 3.5 mm crochet hook, but I crocheted with a 3 mm hook.
  • Leftover white yarn for the cheeks and the belly. This leftover yarn should also be suitable for a 3mm hook
  • Approx. 20 g of yarn for the mane; I used “fringe yarn” from the Schachenmayr “Brazilia” line, color 1027, lot 2206.
  • Yarn for the nose and mouth, as well as a thin black thread for the eyebrows and the dots on the cheeks.
  • 3mm crochet hook
  • stuffing
  • Darning needle and scissors
  • 10mm safety eyes
  • Pins to hold the limbs in place while sewing them on
  • stitch marker
A 27-page detailed crochet pattern with plenty of pictures showing everything step by step. I won’t leave you in the lurch when it comes to sewing the individual pieces together, either!
Difficulty level: Easy, suitable for beginners. However, you should already have experience working in spiral rounds and have a basic understanding of crochet.

In the Schneckenkind shop, there are animals of all kinds ♥

They all grow to about 30 cm tall—so they are the perfect size for cuddling—and are made with cotton yarn (125 m per 50 g) in the specified colors.

All crochet patterns are very detailed, step-by-step, and include lots of close-up photos, making them suitable for crochet beginners too ♥

Zacharias the Zebra is always in a great mood and ready for fun. Zebras were originally native to North Africa; today they are extinct there and live in South Africa. Zacharias would much rather live in a nice, cozy home where he also gets cuddled now and then.
The pattern includes many step-by-step photos that make it easier to recreate. However, basic crochet skills (single crochet, increases, and decreases, etc.) are required.
Personally, I recommend cotton yarn for all my amigurumi projects.
The following materials are needed:
100 g of white cotton yarn
  • 50 g of black cotton yarn
  • 50 g of light gray cotton yarn
  • leftover red cotton yarn
  • a pair of safety eyes, 15 mm, in brown-black
  • stuffing
  • crochet hook, size 3

This owl and little bear don't just look really great and decorative on the door; they also have a particularly useful function. They guard the room behind it. That makes both kids and grown-ups happy.

How about putting these door guards under the tree for all family members at Christmas? After all, everyone needs a quiet hour now and then and will be happy about such an unusual gift.

Both door guards are very easy for crochet beginners with basic knowledge to make with the help of the pattern. They are finished quickly, and you can also use up leftover yarn. The owl and the little bear are also available separately in my shop.

Here is the bargain set with the “Owl” and “Little Bear” door guards.
