Hello, this is my No. 1:

Crochet Hat for Everyone - very easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A wonderfully easy-to-crochet hat for various styles, so ONE hat model wearable in all the pictured variations, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended).

  • no increases or decreases,
  • for any yarn you like
  • possible in all sizes.

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

You need these crochet skills: chain stitches, single crochet.
Everything else and slip stitches are explained. Video link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF. No gauge (it does not depend on the exact cm).

By the way: A matching crochet pattern for an infinity scarf to go with this hat is also available here in my shop:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

Material
: for the pictured model in head circumference 55 cm to 60 cm: approx. 250 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m, crochet hook 6.0;

************************************************************

Place 2:

This is an Excel spreadsheet for converting a yarn quantity from the “original yarn” into an “alternative yarn” of your choice.

Example:
The original yarn named in your pattern has a yardage of 85 m per 50 g. According to the instructions there, you need 600 g of this “original yarn” for your size. But you would like to make your piece in a different yarn (= alternative yarn). This yarn you have chosen has a yardage of 70 m per 50 g ball. You enter this information in the Excel spreadsheet and immediately receive the required quantity of your desired yarn in balls and grams.

********************************************************************

Place 3:

Sock Knitting Course for 4-ply Yarn - all sizes for baby, children’s, women’s, and men’s socks

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Knitting socks (possibly with leftover sock yarn) is wonderful - no matter where you happen to be,
and both little and big feet will be delighted with the results.

This is an illustrated sock knitting course using baby socks size 15, knitted from 4-ply sock yarn, with charts for all sizes

Included in the download :

  • main PDF pattern with detailed illustrations
  • hand-drawn sketches
  • baby sock chart for sizes 15 - 20
  • sock chart for sizes 22 - 47
Integrated into the main pattern is a short-form baby mitten pattern, since parts of the baby sock pattern can be used for it.

Required material:
4-ply sock yarn (wonderfully soft options include, for example, Ferner “Lungauer Sockengarn” merino sock yarns or Austermann “Step” with aloe vera and jojoba or “Comfort” with cashmere)

  • approx. 15 g for the baby socks,
  • approx. 10 g for the baby mittens,
  • for adult socks up to size 44: 100 g,
  • if larger than size 44, then 150 g is required.
set of double-pointed needles 2.5, tape measure, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

**************************************************************************

Place 4:

Knitted Shirt/Sweater 'ALGARVE'

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Two in one pattern:sleeveless long top, ideal for leggings, and with sleeves, a cotton sweater knitted in a simple lace pattern . Due to the pattern, it comes out as ONE SIZE for women’s sizes 38 - 44. Smaller sizes can wear it “oversized.” Weight gains and losses are therefore no problem.

Material:
300 g (without sleeves) / 550 g (sweater) Austermann Algarve (100% cotton; 50 g – 142 m) for needle size 2.5 – 3.5; here: knitting needle 3.5.

The PDF pattern contains the images from the image gallery (see above); no further images are included due to the simple cut.

Basic knitting skills are sufficient, including yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over (is explained).

***********************************************************************

Place 5:

Baby Traditional-Style Knitted Jacket Size 50/56 incl. Gauge Conversion Spreadsheet

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

..THE traditional classic in the tiniest format..

For this easy-to-knit baby traditional-style jacket you need approx. 100 g, e.g. Zimba Top by Schoeller+Stahl in classic traditional gray + 50 g (or yarn leftovers) Regia 4-ply for the border in traditional green, knitting needle size 3.0, and if needed for the decorative foundation chain on the front band, a crochet hook 3 - 3.5.

The PDF pattern contains 15 images.

You will also receive as a bonus the simple version of my Excel spreadsheet for quickly converting your gauge to your desired size (usable for all knitted/crocheted items, calculation program required, e.g. Excel or LibreOffice; the latter is available free on the internet).

Basic knitting skills are assumed (i.e. these are not illustrated).
Required knitting skills: long-tail cast-on, knit stitches, bind off, increase stitches (from the bar between stitches), yarn over (for the buttonholes), knit 2 stitches together.

By the way: This jacket can also be knitted without sleeves (then crochet around the armholes in green once with single crochet) as a vest.

In my shop you’ll find many different crochet patterns, from amigurumi
to storage baskets. There should be something for everyone.

BUT first, here are the 5 most popular crochet patterns:

1st Place

Crochet Pattern: Easter Basket, 3 Sizes

This little basket is very quick to crochet and super easy too.
Perfect for beginners as well. Just grab some leftover yarn and get started.
Even though Easter will soon be over, these baskets are also great for other occasions like birthdays, Mother’s Day, or simply as pretty decorations.

2nd Place

Crochet Pattern: Potholders with 3D Look (Cubes)

These potholders are definitely not boring. On the contrary, they may even get the younger generation interested again. These potholders are quite modern thanks to their unusual 3D-look pattern. A little yarn in black, white, and gray, and you’re ready to go without complicated techniques. Really quite easy to crochet.
See for yourself!

3rd Place

Crochet Pattern: Festive Slippers, Sizes 36–40

Wonderful when you’re invited to friends’ homes: your great outfit still looks great if you bring your own festive slippers and don’t have to wear the slippers they put out for you. Just use the glittery yarn from Online Saphier and a little Catania yarn, plus a 4.0 mm crochet hook, and you can crochet these pretty women’s shoes with my step-by-step pattern.

4th Place

Crochet Pattern: Colorful Bag (quick and easy)

This great bag is beautifully striped. Perfect for a quick small shopping trip, but it also works very well as a little beach bag.
You can never have enough bags, right? This bag is crocheted in one piece and then sewn together. Then just add handles and it’s done.
So it’s quick and, above all, quite sturdy in the end.
This bag is crocheted “only” in single crochet stitches, so there are no complicated techniques.
Definitely also well suited for beginners.

5th Place

Crochet Pattern: Gift Bag

What a great little versatile gift bag. Really useful anywhere and for any occasion. I think it’s perfect for small cash gifts or something sweet. Probably best when you attach it to something a bit larger. The pattern shows you step by step how you can crochet this little pouch from all kinds of leftover yarn.

Doreen wishes you lots of fun crocheting.
