This loop, knitted from thick yarn, has the color of the Arctic Ocean, making it a true winter accessory. Best be prepared in good time!

You can find the pattern here.

This pattern is almost suitable for beginners—the hardest part is joining the loop in the round. Everything else is very simple; you only need knit and purl stitches.
Using 8mm needles and very thick yarn, you’ll also get a quick sense of accomplishment.

This scarf, in a rich blue, is also quick to knit.

You can find the pattern here.

The scarf is also great for cooler days, as the yarn used is very thick (130 m per 100 g). A small lace pattern adds variety while knitting. The pattern is written out row by row and also shown in a knitting chart.

This scarf combines shades of blue and green.

It’s knitted from sock yarn, making it a lighter-weight design. An interesting lace pattern makes knitting fun.

The fish tail for Barbie dolls looks especially great in the ocean colours turquoise and green. For the top and hair accessories, all you need is a scrap of cotton yarn in pastel colours. Crochet this wonderful mermaid outfit for Barbie and you’ll make a little doll mum very happy! It’s really easy, because the shell stitch pattern is very regular.

Crochet patterns in turquoise

Ethno-style belt

An unusual belt that looks great with solid-colored clothing; it can be made either stretchy or firm, and both options are explained in the pattern.
The jacquard pattern is Tunisian crocheted; this is also described in detail in the pattern and is not hard at all. No special crochet hook is needed for it.

Details & pattern are available here

Quick to knit:
Cardigan/knitted jacket Gita - sizes 36 to 42 One Size

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A lightweight knitted piece for all seasons – whether worn over or under – simple and with a special collar area. Both patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar shaping requires a little care, so the difficulty level is: intermediate. Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap. The length is variable.

The illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Because of the jacket’s relaxed shape and stretchiness, one stitch more or less is not too important. If your gauge differs more significantly, please choose a larger or smaller needle size. The pattern does not include a knitting course, but it does include relevant link tips.

We need
225 g KidSilk by Austermann, color 40 emerald, 75% kid mohair, 25% silk, information according to the yarn label: needles 3–4, 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, hand wash, 25 g – 225 m yardage; alternative yarns are listed in the pattern.

Used here: knitting needles size 6.0, pins, tape measure, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors, stitch marker, if needed, row counter.

Knitting Pattern: Simple Traditional Bodice / Top

(Click the image to purchase/download )

This (traditional) bodice is laced; alternatively, you can also attach (traditional) buttons—whichever you prefer.

The detailed instructions are for size S/M—but thanks to the stitch pattern and lacing, it stretches to fit up to size 42. Any size is possible —easy to adjust due to the simple pattern—and suitable even for beginners.

Basic knitting skills and the ability to crochet chain stitches are sufficient (everything is explained with illustrations in the separate PDF)

Included in the download:

  • PDF knitting pattern (includes images from the photo gallery)
  • PDF Knitting Basics – Illustrated Basic Knitting Techniques

You’ll need
approximately 250 g of yarn with a yardage of 125 m to 130 m per 50 g for needle sizes 3–4 and a gauge of approximately 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, as indicated on the skein label.
Used here: Size 3.5 knitting needles and size 3.0 crochet hook.

Standard knitting supplies: measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, stitch holder, or additional circular needles for holding stitches; if needed, buttons, cord, or velvet ribbon, unless you’re crocheting.

Light as a sea breeze, the WINDSEEKER stole features striking turquoise triangles. Of course, turquoise isn’t a must: let your imagination run free, take inspiration from your wardrobe, and be inspired by the interesting color suggestions on the pattern page. I knitted the shawl with feather-light mohair, but other yarn qualities will work too. The yarn just shouldn’t be too thick or heavy ...

The triangular shawl "EBBE & FLUT" is a tribute to my favorite island, Amrum. Here, the colors and textures of the sky and sea are reflected in a gentle wave pattern, edged with small bobbles. It can be knitted with any 4-ply sock yarns (yardage approx. 400 m/100 g), but the pattern is written so that thicker yarns can also be used!

Difficulty level: 3-4 out of 10

You should know how to: knit and purl stitches, twisted knit stitches, yarn overs, knit stitches together, decreases, bobbles (explained in detail); working from a knitting chart is helpful

Get that island feeling and the knitting pattern right here:
Knitting pattern for the triangular shawl "EBBE & FLUT"

Have fun knitting and dreaming,
Annette
