A loose and easy-to-crochet openwork pattern
+
1 bobbel in a gorgeous color combination
+
two cleverly placed buttons
= a cuddly soft feel-good shawl, wearable in many situations, always offering something new to discover, and dreamily beautiful!

Thanks to two cleverly placed buttons, this shawl is a true quick-change artist. Since the buttons fit through the openwork pattern, there is no need to work in buttonholes—so the buttons can be fastened at any
desired spot—creating a huge variety of ways to wear it!

Thanks to the openwork pattern and the beautiful soft yarn, the shawl is wonderfully airy and soft. A true comfort piece!

Go to the pattern here

A Woolly Hugs BOBBEL-COTTON (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic, yardage = 800 m/200 g) in color no. 02 was used for the crocheted shawl.

The shawl is approx. 144 cm long / approx. 36 cm high. Of course, the shawl can be made in any desired size (with correspondingly more or less yarn).

Detailed description as a PDF file with text, crochet chart, and step-by-step photos.

Whatever comes to mind and wants to be knitted or crocheted, a gauge is always needed. Here is a useful "tool":

Gauge Conversion Table - Crochet and Knitting - Calculation Aid

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This Excel spreadsheet is a tool for converting your personal gauge into the required number of stitches for your knitting/crochet project.

Technical note:
This requires the Excel spreadsheet calculation program or another free spreadsheet program downloadable from the Internet, such as LibreOffice. Open the file with a double-click and click "Enable Editing".

And here's how it works:
Enter the result of your gauge as well as the details for the specific pattern, and the required number of stitches will appear automatically.

Have fun with all your projects.

How about the project “Fall/Winter is sure to come”?

Sweet baby hat with mittens. Everything is explained with pictures and, using size 5 needles, it knits up quickly. Everything is knitted on two needles, making it easy for less experienced knitters to make too.

Warm, cozy baby hat with mittens

Take advantage of the 20% off in my shop.
Have fun knitting and enjoy the hat with mittens.

You have a pattern, but would like to use a different yarn? Then this table will help:

Conversion table for yarn quantity, alternative yarn for knitting and crochet

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

This is an Excel spreadsheet for automatically converting a yarn quantity from the "original yarn" to an "alternative yarn" of your choice.

Example:
The original yarn listed in your pattern has a yardage of 85 m per 50 g. According to the instructions there, 600 g of this "original yarn" are required for the size. However, your desired yarn has a different yardage (= alternative yarn). This selected yarn has, for example, a yardage of 70 m per 50 g skein. Simply enter these details in the Excel spreadsheet and the automatically calculated required quantity of your desired yarn will immediately appear, shown in skeins and grams.

Here too, the technical note:
To open an Excel spreadsheet, a spreadsheet program such as Excel, LibreOffice (available free of charge http://de.libreoffice.org/) or OpenOffice (available free of charge http://www.openoffice.org/de/) must be installed. Open the file with a double click and, if the message "Protected View" appears, please click "Enable Editing"

A simple triangular shawl is perfect for unwinding in the evening.

You can find the pattern here.

The shawl is knitted from sock yarn (other yarns work too) and is really very relaxing. You can’t go far wrong, and it’s a project you can knit in any size you like. When you don’t feel like continuing, you simply stop.

Here I’d like to show you a few weekly projects from my shop. Have fun crocheting them.

You don’t have much time for crocheting and want to see results quickly? Plus, you want to get started right away and only use materials you already have lying around at home? Then these lanterns would be just right for you. All you need is some cotton yarn for hook size 3 and an empty yogurt jar, and you can get started. The jar cover is quick to crochet; once you’ve got the pattern down, it almost works up by itself.
--> Get started and grab the crochet pattern for the “Lichterzauber” lanterns here

Do you like crocheting practical things and want to get a head start on the coming fall and winter? Then I have one of my popular hat patterns from my shop for you here. The beanie can be adjusted to any head circumference. The stitch pattern is explained in detail, with lots of pictures too. You can use any yarn, even thinner or thicker yarn than specified in the pattern, and you can also make great use of leftover yarn.
--> Here you’ll find the crochet pattern for the “Herbstfreude” beanie

Do you want to make your children or grandchildren really happy? Do you have a big soccer fan at home? Then Football Mouse Mario would be just right for you. Crochet it in the colors of your little one’s favorite club, and he’ll have not only a new cuddly toy, but also a new toy to play with.
--> Click here for the pattern for soccer player Mario
