This baby knitting set will probably never go out of style and consists of a hat, jacket, loop scarf, and baby shoes. It is made from soft merino yarn, approx. 120 to 130 m yardage (approx. 150 g in petrol blue + approx. 50 g light beige or eggshell) for needle size 3 to 4. You will also need a measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, 3.0 mm crochet hook, 1 button for the loop scarf, buttons for the jacket if desired, and an appliqué if desired.

These knitting skills are required:
Knitting in rows and in the round, casting on stitches and binding off, knit and purl stitches, edge stitches, decreasing by knitting stitches together, increasing by yarn over/from the strand between stitches, crocheting a foundation chain

The baby socks are knitted using a set of double-pointed needles size 2.5 with 4-ply sock yarn (approx. 15 g for sizes 15 to 22). A cable needle (size 2.5) is required for the cable pattern.
For the baby shoes , I used 50 g of soft merino yarn with approx. 120 m–130 m of yardage per 50-g skein, in the color petrol, for knitting needles sizes 3–4, approximately 20 g of matching leftover yarn of the same weight, in the color eggshell white or light beige (= leftover yarn). Gauge according to the label: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
used here: size 3.5 knitting needles, measuring tape, scissors, wool needle, and a size 3.0 crochet hook for the bow.
