Crochet pattern scarf/cowl and headband PLAYFUL in an easy shell pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

The scarf can also be sewn together and worn as a cowl (wrapped twice around the neck), basically in any season . Add the matching headband and you have a pretty (gift) set.

Experienced crocheters can crochet both quickly in one weekend.
Also suitable for advanced beginners.

I made the set with summery cotton yarn, here Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo, 50% cotton / 50% viscose,50 g – 120 m, needle size according to the label 3 - 4, crochet hook size 4.0 used here; gauge according to the label 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Please choose alternative yarns (e.g. Merino Extrafine 120 by Schachenmayr) according to the details above.

Yarn required / finished measurements:

  • 150 g for the scarf/cowl: approx. 14 cm x 140 cm – length variable
  • 50 g for the headband - size variable
The 8-page PDF pattern is illustrated, but assumes the following basic crochet skills: chain stitches, double crochet, single crochet, crocheting in rows. A link with explanations of the basic skills is included in the PDF.

Pretty worn over a sweater, a T-shirt, or a blouse:

Crochet Pattern Möbius Collar 1-2-3-4

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This collar is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3–4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and is quickly finished in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.
Other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

For the illustrated PDF pattern basic crochet skills are sufficient (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

Cozy when it gets cold:

Crochet Pattern Poncho with Möbius Scarf Collar (Cowl) - easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image(s))

Quick and easy to crochet...

This poncho pattern also includes the crochet pattern for the Möbius cowl made from approx. 100 g of thick gradient yarn (100 g - 100 m length) with an 8.0 mm crochet hook.

The PDF pattern includes the poncho and Möbius scarf and is illustrated, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

These crochet skills are needed:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you create is mirrored, i.e. one horizontal half looks like the right/outside face, while the second half looks like the wrong-side inside of the pattern. This creates refined effects, depending on how the scarf is draped and how the pattern falls.

Warm loop scarf

No one wants to think about cold days just yet. But once they’re here, it’s nice to pull a warm scarf out of the closet.
For this one, you’ll need:
  • 350 g Valencia textured knitting yarn (250 m/100 g) 72% polyacrylic, 18% wool, 10% polyamide; turquoise/brown
  • Circular knitting needle, size 8.0, 60 cm
  • Auxiliary needle
This will make the loop 175 cm long. The piece is worked as a tube, so the loop looks great from every angle.

If you don’t want it to be quite that warm around your neck yet, try the
Laola scarf

Short rows create a wave pattern with large and small waves—the Laola to complement your outfit! You’ll need:
  • a 200 g skein of 4-ply gradient yarn
  • 50 g of 4-ply yarn in a contrasting color
  • Size 4.0 knitting needles
This will make a scarf measuring 225 x 30 cm.

Beautiful colors + simple pattern + great cut = a snood you just have to have!

This loop scarf in a tartan look has a sophisticated effect, but is so easy to make
that it is also suitable for beginners !

The circumference is about 80 cm, and the height is approx. 50 cm.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to adjust the size individually.

You will also find a chart of the color scheme as well as a detailed description in the pattern.
In addition, extensive photo documentation helps guide you through the knitting process.
The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

A detailed knitting chart guides you through the knitting process.

The pattern for the headband is designed for a head circumference of about 50-53 cm.
The loop/cowl has a diameter of about 130 cm.
However, it is simple to make it larger or smaller as needed.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Knitting a scarf or cowl with the “witch’s staircase pattern” is very easy,

The pattern is explained very well and is also suitable for beginners!

Schoppel yarn Reggea and size 5 knitting needles were used, so
this project is finished quickly too

The following skills would be good to have:
> casting on stitches,
> knit stitches
> yarn overs
> knitting stitches together
> binding off stitches
here is the pattern: Witch’s Staircase Scarf or Cowl

I hope you enjoy knitting this attractive pattern!

Loop ANOUK is a cozy companion through the winter with a wonderful effect thanks to its textured relief pattern!
It is really quick and easy to knit, and all you need to know are knit and purl stitches! The pattern includes a knitting chart, but is also described row by row so everyone can work according to their preference! Wonderful for beginners! It is knitted with two strands in 2 colors (creating a beautiful mélange effect)! Using the original yarn (Sulka Legato by Mirasol), 412 - 450 m of each color are needed! You can also knit the loop with Sulka Nina by Mirasol, for example (yardage: 150 m/ 50 g), or any other yarn for needle size 3.5 - 4; in that case, it is knitted with just 1 strand!

And here is the pattern:

Happy knitting,
Annette
