It looks great all year round:
Knitting pattern for baby traditional vest size 86/92 with intarsia cable

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

..and not just during Oktoberfest season..

Materials for this special sleeveless baby vest without buttons:

150 g gray merino wool + 50 g red merino wool, here Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120, 50 g – 120 m yardage, gauge according to the ball band: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, knitting needles 3.0 – 4.0; here: knitting needles 4.0, cable needle, crochet hook 3.5 for the bow, stitch holder or similar for holding stitches, yarn needle for weaving in ends, stitch marker is helpful.

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

The red cable on the back is worked in intarsia technique (illustrated explanation is included) and requires a little time and skill - so I recommend that knitting beginners knit this vest completely without the cable and/or in a single color .

This sweet sleeping and cuddling doll is a lovely sleep aid for the littlest ones.

Especially suitable for beginners, it is quick to crochet and uses only a small amount of material, so leftover yarn can also be used

For your own baby... they won’t want to let go of the doll, or as a gift it is guaranteed to put a sparkle in the “little ones’” eyes.

The pattern is very detailed and includes 18 pages with lots of step-by-step photos.

I have a baby hat with a Rapunzel cable to share.

You can find the pattern here.

The hat comes in three different sizes, from newborn to age 2. It’s knitted using two colors of yarn with a length of 150m per 50g—though the color choice is, of course, up to you.
The pattern is best suited for more experienced knitters.

A cute sleeveless hooded vest for transitional weather—traditional style and baby, I love this combo :-)
The little pockets add a bit of flair to the little jacket. The hood creates just the right style contrast!

And if you’re not a fan of the “traditional” look—just change the buttons.

This pattern is designed for size 92–98.
However, the included pattern and gauge make it possible to knit any size!

A particularly lovely baby shower gift and also a wonderful little summer project are these Baby Shoes "Summer Breeze" for babies from 0-12 months.

On somewhat cooler summer days especially, your little darling will look great in these sporty shoes.

Thanks to the detailed step-by-step pattern with an additional crochet chart for the sole, the little shoes are quick and easy to make and absolutely suitable for beginners.

All you need is:
  • a little cotton yarn in 3 different colors (e.g., white, turquoise, gray) – yardage approx. 125 m/50 g
  • crochet hook size 3.0 mm
  • 2 wooden buttons (20 mm) in a matching color (e.g., blue), plus matching thread
  • 10-15 safety pins
Little tip: If the little flower is too feminine for you, you can of course simply leave it off and get a sporty “casual shoe” instead.

Just give it a try! You can find the pattern here >>>

And as the days are slowly starting to get a little cooler again, a beautiful soft beanie is a must - like this pretty Baby Hat "Emma"

The great combination of a delicate little star pattern and colorful stripes makes this little hat a wonderful accessory for little heads from 0-12 months.

With the detailed step-by-step pattern with numerous images and an additional crochet chart, the hat is also easy to make even for somewhat experienced crochet beginners and is a lovely little project to deepen your crochet skills.

To make it, you will need:
  • approx. 50 g of a beautiful, soft baby yarn in 2-3 different colors
  • and a crochet hook about 2 sizes larger than recommended for your chosen yarn (this makes the hat beautifully soft and snug)

In addition to the 3 sample sizes "0-3 months", "3-6 months" and "6-12 months", the pattern also explains exactly how you can very easily adapt the pattern to any other size and any yarn you like - completely without annoying recalculations! That way you can crochet a matching hat for the older siblings, too!

So grab your favorite cozy yarn and make yourself comfortable in your crochet corner. You can find the corresponding pattern for the Baby Hat "Emma" here >>>
