Dear users, dear authors,
I’m curious to see what ideas you come up with for this thread.
Let’s get started with patterns that can be recreated using leftover yarn in white , gray , and silver .

@Authors,
2–3 patterns per author are enough.
Don’t forget to include a link and image, as well as information on materials, techniques, difficulty level, and any special features of the pattern.

You can use some gray or white leftover sock yarn, combined with red, to make this little pouch.

You can find the pattern here.

The pouch is knitted from the top down using a set of double-pointed needles and features these cute little hearts, which are shown in a knitting chart. It’s perfect for wrapping small gifts!

The cute little elephant Bully can be crocheted from gray plush yarn or any other gray yarn. In the picture below on the right, you can see him in two versions: one made from acrylic yarn (Bravo) and one from fluffy yarn (Phil douce). You’ll also need cotton yarn (Catania) in turquoise and white (or any other color combination of your choice) for the sailboat, swim ring, and hat.

A small piece of gray leftover yarn is all you need if you want to crochet this tiny seal. The pattern describes what to do round by round.
The little seal can be used as a bag charm, keychain, or good-luck charm.

Using a small scrap of white “Catania Fine” yarn and a size 2.5 crochet hook, you can crochet this beautiful little white stiffened snowflake . You can use it as a decoration in a Christmas arrangement, as a small St. Nicholas Day gift, or as a gift tag.

I hope you have fun crocheting and decorating.
Best wishes from Ina

For this pretty crocheted doll dress you’ll need:

  • 35 g white “Katia New Babette for Baby”
  • 1 size 2 crochet hook
  • a 40 cm long and 3 or 4 mm wide satin ribbon
  • darning needle, scissors, pins
The “Swing” dress series includes 7 patterns that you can mix and match however you like:
  • Long dress with circle skirt
  • Short dress with bell skirt
  • Sun hat with lace
  • Beret
  • Flight attendant hat
  • Bag
  • Petticoat (hand-sewing pattern)
The designs fit all standard small play dolls that are about 28–30 cm tall (e.g., Barbie, Steffi, Petra, etc.). The patterns are very well suited for crochet beginners, as I describe everything in great detail and with step-by-step photos. I hope you enjoy the patterns!

Using just 25 g of white acrylic yarn (“Peques for Baby” by Katia, 232 m/50 g) and a set of double-pointed needles size 2, you can knit this enchanting ball gown for Barbie and her friends.

You can knit the ball gown in a single color or in multiple colors. Here’s a small selection of my color variations. All the dresses were knitted using the same pattern. When it comes to
personalizing and decorating
the dress, the sky’s the limit.

The pattern is also suitable for beginner knitters, as long as they know how to knit with a set of double-pointed needles or would like to learn. I explain and demonstrate everything in great detail, step by step. I hope you have lots of fun knitting and playing. Best wishes – Yours, “Ina strickt”

Using white and gray with a small splash of blue, you can make these lovely little turtles. They’re great for using up leftover yarn, and the more leftover yarn you have, the more colorful your little turtles can be.
