Crochet pattern for Christmas gift packaging

Santa has a big pile of laundry, so he’s lost the desire to wrap presents and is filling his gift sack with money and vouchers instead. Once the sack is emptied, the picture can still serve as a fun decoration on a wall or door.

An original and practical gift that is easy for beginners to make, too.

Info & pattern can be found here

The pattern is illustrated and written without abbreviations.

Knitting pattern for a cozy baby hat with mittens.

Warm, cozy baby hat with mittens knitted on two needles.

Materials needed: 100 g Babycolor yarn by Gründl (worked double) / two knitting needles size 4.5–5.0, and you’re ready to get started.

You need to know: slipped decreases, purl stitches and knit stitches. Knit an eyelet row. Knit in stockinette stitch: knit stitches on the right side, purl stitches on the wrong side.

Knitting Pattern for a Hat and Mittens for 0–3 Months

This hat is so cute—and just right for fall, when the evenings are slowly getting cooler again. Find a fun appliqué—maybe you enjoy crocheting yourself.
Either way, every mom will be delighted with the hat and mittens—and so will the baby, of course.

Have fun crafting!

Knitting Pattern Baby Booties 0-3 Months

Of course, babies need cute baby boots in the fall. These ones are knitted on two needles.
You start with the sole. In four steps, you work your way from the bottom up. Don’t they look cool?
Materials needed: 30 g white yarn, 30 g purple yarn or light blue, a leftover bit of black, needles size 3. I used Gründli Baby uni. You knit in ribbing and need to know how to pick up stitches from the edge. You need to knit 1 single hole for the cord, but it’s just a yarn over and is explained very well. In any case, these booties are fun to knit. Pictures are included too, and the pattern is written without abbreviations.

Baby Socks (4–10 Months) with a Simple Heel

Of course, little socks are a must in autumn too. These have a particularly simple heel—knitting them causes no problems at all: no counting, nothing whatsoever, just increasing and decreasing stitches.

The knitting pattern describes exactly how to proceed and includes pictures.

Materials: Gründl Wolle Hot Socks in gray (50g) and a scrap of colored yarn of your choice.

Jana wishes you lots of fun with your project!

Dear Jana

What a cute little donkey on that baby hat! Too bad my grandchildren aren’t babies anymore!

The first winter yarn is already in stores, and anyone who wants to snuggle up in something warm in good time should start now.

For example, with the wonderful knitted poncho "Siria".

Siria is knitted as a large rectangle and then transformed into a poncho at the end. Fringe attached along one side gives it that special something. Thanks to its shape, the poncho can be worn in many different ways.

Materials needed

  • approx. 350 grams of MyBoshi “Flow” or another yarn in a comparable weight (approx. 900 meters of yarn)
  • size 7 knitting needles
  • 2 stitch markers
  • size 7 crochet hook
  • scissors
Skills needed

  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • cable pattern
You’ll get:

  • 10 pages of pattern!
  • pattern written out stitch by stitch
  • professional and detailed computer-generated knitting charts
  • photo tutorial for the garter rib pattern
  • schematic drawings
Intermediate difficulty

Click here and get the exclusive knitting pattern.

There is also a super-stylish beanie to go with the poncho.

When it gets really bitterly cold, this cozy hat is simply a must-have!
It is knitted flat and in rows, which means you don't need a set of double-pointed needles. Nor is it necessary to calculate the number of stitches for the circumference. You simply knit until the piece fits around your head, and then bind off the stitches together.

Required materials:

  • 50 grams of yarn (approx. 125 meters, e.g., MyBoshi Flow or a similar bulky yarn)
  • Size 7 circular knitting needle
  • 2 stitch markers
  • Sewing needle
  • Some scrap yarn for the provisional cast-on
  • Size 7 crochet hook

Required skills

  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • increasing stitches
  • knitting stitches together
  • knitting short rows
You will receive

  • 8 pages of pattern instructions
  • stitch-by-stitch written instructions
  • detailed, professionally computer-created knitting charts
  • photo tutorial for the garter-rib pattern
  • schematic drawing

The set includes the pattern for a wonderful cowl and a matching beanie. Thanks to its unusual shape, the cowl keeps your neck and décolleté reliably warm, and the hat protects your head from the cold. That way you’ll get through winter in comfort!

You can knit the set using the same wool or with different yarns.
Either way, you’ll have a great winter set that reliably protects against snow and cold while being right on trend!

  • 2 stitch markers
  • tape measure
  • scissors
  • sewing needle
  • some leftover yarn for the provisional cast-on
  • crochet hook

The pattern is 15 pages long and includes written instructions stitch by stitch, as well as detailed, professionally computer-created knitting charts and diagrams. For the hat’s garter ridge pattern, the pattern includes a photo tutorial.
