Knitting pattern Baby Trachten Vest size 86/92 with intarsia cable

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

Not just for Oktoberfest season...

For this special sleeveless baby vest without buttons, we need:

150 g gray merino wool + 50 g red merino wool, here Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120, 50 g – 120 m yardage, gauge according to the ball band: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, knitting needles 3.0 – 4.0; here: knitting needles 4.0, cable needle, crochet hook 3.5 for the bow, stitch holder or similar for placing stitches on hold, yarn needle for weaving in ends, a stitch marker is helpful.

The PDF pattern includes photos.

The red cable on the back is worked in intarsia technique (illustrated explanation is included) and requires a little time and skill - so I would not recommend it for knitting beginners.

The cable also looks nice in solid gray, and the whole piece is then knitted up quite quickly. For knitting beginners, I therefore recommend knitting this vest completely without the cable and/or in one color .

Sock Knitting Course for 4-ply Yarn – All Sizes for Baby, Children’s, Women’s and Men’s Socks

(Please click the image to purchase/download )

Knitting socks (possibly using leftover sock yarn) is wonderful – no matter where you happen to be,

  • whether on the couch in rainy or snowy weather
  • whether in winter or summer
  • during a (work) break
  • in a boat on a lake/at sea
  • at the beach
  • while traveling by train/plane
  • or wherever else...
...and little and big feet alike will be delighted with the results...

This is an illustrated sock-knitting course using baby socks in size 15 as an example knitted from 4-ply sock yarn, with tables for all sizes

Included in the download :

  • Detailed, fully illustrated PDF main pattern
  • hand-drawn sketches
  • Baby sock table for sizes 15–20
  • Sock table for sizes 22–47
Also integrated into the main pattern is a short version of a baby mitten pattern , since parts of the baby sock pattern can be used for it.

Don’t be alarmed! Describing the process is more difficult than knitting the socks themselves.

Materials needed:
4-ply sock yarn (wonderfully soft examples include Ferner "Lungauer Sockengarn" merino sock yarns or Austermann "Step" with aloe vera and jojoba or "Comfort" with cashmere)

  • approx. 15 g for the baby socks,
  • approx. 10 g for the baby mittens,
  • 100 g for adult socks up to size 44,
  • if larger than size 44, 150 g are required.
2.5 set of double-pointed needles, measuring tape, scissors, and a yarn needle for weaving in ends.

The baby socks can also be embroidered, for example, and used in many different ways – not just as baby socks – such as "wrapping" for money gifts or sweets, as an Advent calendar, or as a key ring – there are no limits to the imagination.

Basic knitting skills are required (i.e. the latter are not illustrated).

Simple Baby Crochet Shoes

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This is an illustrated crochet pattern for easy-to-crochet baby shoes.

Basic crochet skills are enough.

We need:

approx. 50 g cotton (blend) yarn with a yardage of approx. 90 m per 50 g, for (knitting) needle size 4.0–5.0; used here: crochet hook 4.5; thinner yarn can also be used—the specified measurements are what matter (check gauge), leftover yarn for the bows or 2 pretty buttons, yarn needle, measuring tape, scissors

Crochet pattern set Baby 0-12 months (wrap cardigan and pants)

I crocheted a beautiful baby set with a wrap cardigan and romper pants for you.

The two patterns are also available separately here:
Crochet pattern Pants Baby 0-12 months
Crochet pattern Wrap Cardigan Baby 0-12 months

The lovely but quite simple pattern gives this set a beautiful texture without any complicated crochet techniques.
I have explained everything in great detail and step by step with lots of pictures, so that anyone can crochet this set for babies from 0-12 months.
Only somewhat suitable for beginners. If you would still like to give it a try, I’ll be happy to offer advice.
I crocheted size 74/80. I have also included detailed information for sizes 50/56 and 62/68. The pants are crocheted in rows at the beginning and later in rounds, and finished with a drawstring casing. The cardigan consists of a back piece, 2 front pieces, and sleeves. Everything here is crocheted in rows and sewn together later.

Contents of the pattern:
  • Material details

Crochet Hat for Everyone - very easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A wonderfully easy-to-crochet hat for various styles, so ONE hat model that can be worn in all the pictured variations, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended).

And the best part:

  • no gauge (it doesn’t depend on the exact cm),
  • no increases or decreases,
  • for any yarn you like
  • possible in all sizes.

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

You need these crochet skills: chain stitches, single crochet. Everything else and slip stitches are explained. Video link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.

By the way: A matching crochet pattern for an infinity scarf for this hat is also available here in my shop:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

Material
: for the pictured model with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm: approx. 250 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m, crochet hook 6.0; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends. The rib pattern requires approx. 50 g more yarn than is normally usual for hats. The crochet hook size should match the yarn used.

Baby Picture Book - Quiet Book - Activity Book

This book is something very special and unique for your own baby or as a gift. It is relatively easy to knit, as long as you bring a little patience.
The pages are knitted with Catania by Schachenmayr, and leftover yarn works well for the appliqués.
In addition to the yarn, you will need knitting needles/a set of double-pointed needles and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. Buttons, beads, and other accessories for decorating, the kind you can find in any craft household.

And here you can find the pattern for the book!

A lovely sleeveless hooded vest for transitional weather—traditional attire and baby, I love this combo :-)
The little pockets add a bit of flair to the little jacket. The hood provides just the right style contrast!

And if you’re not a fan of the “traditional” look—just change the buttons.

This pattern is designed for size 92–98 .
However, the included template and gauge make it possible to knit any size!
