Dear users, dear authors,
Crazypatterns is taking a trip to the jungle .
We’ll all put on our boots to protect against snakes and worms , put on our pith helmets, and then we’re off.
Watching the monkeys swing, the crocodiles bathe, and the lions and tigers hunt—all from a safe hiding spot, of course: Would you like that?

@Authors,
please post 2–3 patterns with relevant information here.

Gorillas normally live in the forests of Central Africa. But not Gustav—he wants to live with a child who takes him into their heart and wants to be his friend.

Using the specified materials, Gorilla Gustav measures 25 cm tall when sitting. Personally, I recommend cotton yarn for making all my stuffed animals.

The pattern includes many step-by-step photos that make it easier to follow. However, basic crochet skills (single crochet, increases and decreases, spiral rounds, etc.) are required.

Here is the pattern for Gustav Gorilla:

The two are about 7 cm tall and can be crocheted from yellow leftover yarn. The 6-page pattern explains every step in detail. Bring these two home with you!

Giraffes are very graceful animals. Why not crochet one—or several! These ones are 14 cm tall and can be used as keychains or bag charms, or to brighten up your desk.
In the 6-page pattern, it explains exactly what to do, so even ambitious beginners can achieve results quickly. All you need are a few leftovers of yarn and some stuffing?

Longing for Africa? Play jungle with finger puppets—you can do that with these three: Elephant, Giraffe, Crocodile. You’ll get a pattern for making all three jungle animals. They’re very quick and easy to crochet from a few bits of leftover yarn, and then the fun can begin.

Crochet Pattern: Lurchi the Lizard

Details & Pattern

Nothing is as rich in biodiversity as the jungle; three-quarters of all animal species live there.
This includes lizards—they are wondrous and utterly charming creatures. If you’d like to have an iguana or a lizard as a pet, you can make that wish
come true.

Lurchi is easy to care for, versatile, and measures about 20 cm in length. Crocheted from leftover yarn, he can become a chameleon. The pattern is written without abbreviations.

Lizards can be found almost everywhere in the world—maybe even in your home soon.

A truly adorable baby sweater. A sweater straight out of a picture book. The sweater is knitted from cotton and
is therefore ideal for spring and summer.
Something this unique also makes a lovely gift for a newborn or a christening.
The pattern includes instructions for 4 sizes
Sizes: 62/68 - 74/80 – 86/92 – 98/104
Knitting the sweater and crocheting the appliqués are described in detail, but this pattern is not suitable for beginners.

Baby Elephant

When I recently took a vacation trip through Africa, I found these cute baby elephants in the jungle. Since they didn’t have a mommy anymore, I simply packed them in my suitcase and took them home with me.

Cotton yarn was used here, such as Schachenmayr Catania, Gründl Cotton Quick Uni, Katja Capri, or Limone by Schöller & Stahl. You can use any cotton yarn with a yardage of 125 m per 50 g, or of course your favorite yarn. The size may then vary depending on the type and weight of the yarn.

The elephant is approx. 22 cm tall.

The following basic materials are also needed:

  • Crochet hooks in size 2.0
  • 2 black half pearls, 10 mm
  • Stuffing
  • Scissors
  • Round marker and round counter
  • Sewing thread in white
  • Hot glue gun
  • Sewing supplies
The pattern is 33 pages long and includes many pictures that guide you step by step to success.
