Brighten up your breakfast table with these fun little calf egg cups! The little calves are real eye-catchers and instantly remind you of a vacation in the mountains. They’ll charm you with their sweet expressions and funny little bells, putting a smile on your face first thing in the morning. They also make great gifts ;-) What you’ll need:

• Approx. 20g of white yarn, suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. I used 100% cotton, which makes the egg cup nice and sturdy.
• Scraps of brown yarn (for the spots), also suitable for a 3mm hook
• Scraps of pink yarn (for the calf’s mouth), also suitable for a 3mm hook
• Scraps of brown and a color of your choice, suitable for a 2mm hook (for the horns and the collar)
• 3mm and 2mm crochet hooks
• A small bell
• 6mm safety eyes
• stuffing
• Scissors, darning needle, stitch markers

Pattern for a summer scarf.



Knitted from a cotton-viscose-silk blend yarn, it feels pleasant against the skin, and it is also very quick to finish with size 6 needles. You will get the hang of the pattern very quickly - it is mostly holes, but they are easy to work.

The bag is knitted in cotton and in the round. The only challenge is knitting the fish into the fabric, but that only takes a few rounds. They’re shown in a knitting chart.

When it's warm, sitting in the shade with a cool drink and crocheting these glass coasters from leftover cotton yarn, which are finished quickly and can then also be used right away to cover the glass... isn't that cool? The pattern is very easy and can also be followed easily by beginners. You only need to crochet chain stitches, slip stitches, and single crochet stitches.

In summer, you don’t always feel like crafting. But the true addicts can’t do without it either. That’s when you need crochet projects that use little material and are finished quickly.
Shells are a typical summer decoration. You can crochet them from leftover yarn you already have. It’s so quick that you can crochet a shell now and then in between, when it’s not quite so hot, without losing your motivation because your project is growing so slowly.

Not just for Oktoberfest season...

For this special sleeveless baby vest without buttons, we need:

150 g gray merino wool + 50 g red merino wool, here Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120, 50 g – 120 m yardage, gauge according to the label: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, knitting needles 3.0 – 4.0; here: knitting needles 4.0, cable needle, crochet hook 3.5 for the bow, stitch holder or similar for holding stitches, yarn needle for weaving in ends, stitch marker is helpful.

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

The red cable on the back is worked in intarsia technique (illustrated explanation is included) and requires a little time and skill - so I would not recommend it for knitting beginners.

The cable also looks beautiful in solid gray, and the whole piece is then knitted up quite quickly. For knitting beginners, I therefore recommend knitting this vest completely without the cable and/or in one color.

This easy-to-knit summer model, size 38/40, is made from 250 g cotton-blend yarn for needle size 3.5–4.0, 50 g - 125 m.

The PDF pattern includes photos.

The finished shirt has a stretchy back width of approx. 44 cm and is approx. 65 cm long, but it also looks pretty shorter. Thanks to the simple pattern (made up of yarn overs, knit and purl stitches) and cut, this piece can be easily adjusted to any size.


What else you need:
Measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, stitch holder, if needed a set of double-pointed needles size 3.5–4.0; a row counter and stitch marker are helpful, but not absolutely necessary
