This is the Othello Dog family :-) If you have one, you need the whole family.

The large dog is crocheted with acrylic yarn (approx. 210g - 50g/133m) and the little offspring with cotton yarn (approx. 95g - 100g/530m): chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet. Increases and decreases, and then Othello is actually quick to crochet. Every amigurumi lover surely has some stuffing on hand, a long blunt needle, and either you use safety eyes or embroider them. From 50 cm (standing) to 23 cm... or somewhere in between if you use different yarn.
From beginner to pro... everyone loves Othello :-)

Einfach hier entlang :-)
    .......and find your new favorites

Have fun crocheting!

Kitten and Lamb —two adorable baby animals, both crocheted from fluffy yarn using single crochet. I love this yarn because it makes the animals so beautifully plush and cuddly. It’s not nearly as hard as you might think. Using several stitch markers will help you keep track of the tricky fluffy yarn. And the yarn is forgiving of small mistakes, since you can’t really see the individual stitches anyway. Just go for it! But of course, you can also crochet both baby animals with any other type of yarn.

Hello everyone, my name is Resi and I am a little calf. I love to cuddle and am also perfect as a keychain or bag charm. At a delicate 7-8 cm, you can take me anywhere, because I fit in any bag :-)What you need
  • Approx. 10 g yarn/wool in white/cream (I used Schachenmayr Catania fine in cream-white). Your yarn should definitely be suitable for a 2 mm crochet hook
  • Scraps in pink and brown. Both also suitable for a 2 mm crochet hook
  • 2 mm crochet hook
  • Stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle, stitch marker
  • Safety eyes size 6 mm, alternatively black thread to embroider the eyes
  • If you would like to use your little calf as a keychain, you will also need a key ring
Length 19-page crochet pattern with lots of pictures showing everything step by step. I won't leave you on your own when sewing on the individual parts either
Difficulty level Easy, suitable for beginners. You should know the basic crochet techniques: crocheting in spiral rounds, single crochet, slip stitches, making a magic ring, color changes, increases and decreases, double crochet/half double crochet, as well as sewing on the individual parts.

Crochet pattern "Baby Sleepy Dino"

Baby Sleepy Dinos may still be small, but just like the big Sleepy Dinos, they love hiding anywhere cozy and warm to take long naps. So before going to bed, you'd better check whether a baby dino has fallen asleep under your blanket, too.

This crochet pattern explains how to make the "Baby Sleepy Dino" over 7 pages with detailed descriptions and numerous pictures. Solid basic crochet skills are required; difficult parts or special techniques are explained step by step. With cotton yarn and a size 2.5 crochet hook, the baby dino will be just under 27 cm long and approx. 6.5 cm tall.

Little tomcat Jacques and his friend, little fox Alois, are real rascals. They’re always coming up with new mischief, and if you let them get too close to your yarn basket, that’s when the fun really begins.
The two little ones are designed so that newcomers to stuffed-animal knitting can see their first successes very quickly. They’re not super easy, but easy enough to have plenty of fun knitting and sewing them together.

Curious? This way to the pattern: CLICK!
