Dear users, dear authors,
this thread is for projects that will still be “in style” many years from now—projects that won’t become outdated, won’t go out of fashion, and are very durable.
I’m excited to see what you come up with.

Socks will still be in demand 20 years from now. Especially with the simple heel as you’ll find it described in my pattern. They keep you warm in winter, and in summer on cold tile floors.

You need a set of double-pointed needles size 2.5 to 3.0; for children’s socks you need 50 g of yarn, for adult socks 100 g of yarn.

Have fun crafting—maybe this will even turn you into a sock knitter.

Every year, winter comes around again (sorry, summer is coming now—but winter comes afterward), and as annoying as it is, you need something warm to wear. If you're going to do it, you might as well make something yourself; that way you at least have fun with it beforehand and, when you're finished, a beautiful piece you can show off. A scarf is definitely part of a winter wardrobe.

Basically, this is a ribbed scarf. It can also basically be knitted in any wool you like; thin or thick doesn't matter, since you can add or leave out pattern repeats.
What makes the pattern special are the slipped-stitch cables, which can be knitted with or without a cable needle (both are described in the pattern), giving the scarf an extra surface texture in addition to the ribs. It's not rocket science; it looks more difficult than it is.

Mimi and the Rascals....

Little dolls were loved 100 years ago and will still be loved 100 years from now :-) Who doesn’t still secretly have their cuddly doll from back then up in the attic, or remember their first stuffed animal? Just crochet a memory that lasts :-) 

With this pattern, you can crochet yourself an entire soccer team, and every doll will look different. She can also put the pacifier or her thumb in her mouth. 

Mimi and her friends can be changed however you like. Give them different clothes, change the face shape with different stuffing, or use different eyes and ears. The various outfits and the pacifier are included. Everything is described in the pattern.
Single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet. Slip stitches, increases and decreases, a little stuffing, and the right hook for your yarn. Which yarn you use is not crucial. It only changes the size. With 100 g cotton (50 g/125 m) and a size 3 crochet hook, you already have the doll. And depending on the outfit, you can also use up leftovers.

For this, you need 50 g cotton yarn per color for a size 4.5 crochet hook.

The PDF pattern is illustrated, but it is not a crochet course.

The detailed instructions are for size S/M—stretchy thanks to the pattern and the lacing, up to size 42. Any desired size is possible—easy to adapt due to the simple pattern—also suitable for beginners.

We need approx. 250 g of a yarn with 50 g – 125 m to 130 m yardage for needle sizes 3 – 4 and a gauge according to the ball band of approx. 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm. Used here: knitting needle 3.5 and crochet hook 3.0.

Usual knitting supplies: measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, stitch holder or additional circular knitting needles for holding stitches; a stitch marker is not required here.

If desired, buttons, cord, or velvet ribbon, unless you crochet it.

This is an illustrated sock knitting course using baby socks size 15, knitted from 4-ply sock yarn, with charts for all sizes

Don’t be alarmed! Describing the process is harder than knitting the socks.

4-ply sock yarn (for example, wonderfully soft merino sock yarns are Ferner “Lungauer Sockengarn” or Austermann “Step” with aloe vera and jojoba, or “Comfort” with cashmere)

• approx. 15 g for the baby socks,
• approx. 10 g for the baby mittens,
• for adult socks up to size 44: 100 g,
• if larger than size 44, then 150 g is required.

Set of double-pointed needles 2.5 mm, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

The baby socks can also be embroidered, for example, and used in various ways—not just as baby socks—e.g. as “packaging” for gifts of money or sweets, as an Advent calendar, as a keychain—the possibilities are endless.

Teddy bears have always been absolutely timeless and always will be.
With this pattern, you can crochet yourselves a whole gang. 

All you need:
-Some leftover yarn in your desired colors
-A matching crochet hook
-Some stuffing
-A key ring or mini carabiner
-additional decorations (if desired)

Only chain stitches and single crochet stitches are needed, so the pattern is absolutely suitable for beginners.

Short Pattern for a Women's Knitted Vest with Mohair

This vest is knitted with two strands at the same time, weighs only about 300 g, and fits over any blouse or sweater – basically in any season.

The PDF pattern contains the images from the picture gallery and is written in text form. It is written for size 36/38, but can be very easily adjusted to larger sizes. How to convert the gauge to individual measurements is described.

These knitting skills are required:
cast on and bind off stitches, knit and purl stitches, simple cabling (described), edge stitches, knit stitches together, increases from the strand between stitches

We need:

200 g 4-ply sock yarn (e.g., Schoeller+Stahl Fortissima Mexiko Color 60% virgin wool, 25% bamboo, 15% PAM) and 100 g Kid Silk by Austermann (75% kid mohair, 25% silk, 25 g – 225 m for needle size 3–4 according to the ball band), knitting needle 6.0, cable needle (auxiliary needle), tape measure, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, row counter is helpful.

You always need this belt bag when you want to go through life comfortably with your hands free. It is extremely practical and also looks fantastic. A real eye-catcher!

This belt bag can also be worn under a sweater, a tunic, or a blouse.


The crochet pattern includes 23 pages with 59 photos. The individual steps are explained in detail—as is the star pattern. However, you should already have some practice with crocheting. That’s why I would describe the difficulty level as intermediate.

The belt fits every women’s size. All you need to do is measure your own hips. This is also explained in the pattern.

• 100-150 g cotton (yardage 120 m/50 g) in golden yellow 
  
• 50 g cotton (same quality) in beige 
  
• Size 3 crochet hook 
  
• 1 yarn sewing needle

This guardian owl can serve its purpose from birth to the end of life, while also spreading good cheer.

It patiently keeps watch on any room door and clearly indicates with its traffic-light function whether the way is clear or not. For example, whether the baby is sleeping or whether the older child wants some peace and quiet. The home office can also stay undisturbed this way. And of course, not forgetting the toilet and bathroom.



The guardian owl is easy to make for crocheters with a little experience. The 16-page crochet pattern explains every step in detail, including many close-up photos.

The following materials are needed: 

• Red and green thinner cotton yarn – leftovers are also enough (I used a yardage of 170 m/50 g here) 
  
• Leftover cotton yarn in white and beige (gray or other colors also work as alternatives)
