For me, crocheting is especially relaxing when I
don’t have to think too much ;-) So ideally a pattern that’s
easy to crochet without having to keep looking at a crochet chart.
And that’s exactly the kind of pattern I have here for you with these
pretty and extremely practical “Sammelsurium” storage baskets!
Because, hand on heart! You can never really have enough of these practical little organizers.
I like to use them best to organize my various crochet projects (including yarn and crochet hook) - but they’re also just as well suited for storing little treasures like jewelry or toys, candy (for guests, of course!) ;-) or simply as decoration.
In the pattern you’ll find instructions for
2 different versions (“feminine” and “straight”)
in 7 sizes each - so you can crochet yourself a
whole set of matching baskets right away.
The baskets are
easy to make even for somewhat experienced beginners, since they use
only basic stitches such as chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, half double crochet, and double crochet.
And you’ll see how
easy the pattern is and how much fun it is to make it
in a completely relaxed way, e.g. in a lounge chair in the garden or in the evening in front of the TV.
Which
material you use for the baskets is entirely up to you. I personally chose a somewhat
thicker cotton yarn (yardage 85 m/50 g), because it’s durable and holds its shape well.
But you can just as easily use
any other yarn you like, such as wool - or even sisal twine if you perhaps want to set the baskets out in the garden!
So find yourself a cozy spot to crochet and let’s get started! You can find the pattern here >>>
