Money Donkey Moneyshit

Go to the pattern here

Everyone wishes they had a donkey that could sh........ money.......Inspired by the fairy tale "The Wishing-Table," which featured the golden donkey, I have now crocheted a money donkey. Because this donkey can not only eat the money, as shown in the picture here, but when its tail is lifted, small change also falls out of its behind. This is a fantastic way to give a dear person a truly original money gift.

Moneyshit has a height at the withers of 27 cm (from the tip of the ear to the hoof even 44 cm) and a length of 50 cm. Of course, you can see a few more pictures of him here, and there is also another little video to go with it.

Difficulty level: Easy to intermediate

What you need:

  • Gründl Lisa yarn (gray – approx. 300 g -)
  • A little light gray, black, red, white, yellow (Happy by Gründl),
  • Stuffing, Tic Tac box
  • A little superglue
  • Adhesive tape
  • Two large safety eyes
  • Hook size 3.5, yarn needle and scissors
Most parts are worked in continuous rounds and joined together later

Enrico the donkey isn’t a stubborn donkey.... no, quite the opposite: Enrico is a real sweetheart and would love to be a playmate and friend.

Using the specified materials, Enrico the donkey will measure 20 cm long and 22 cm tall. I recommend using cotton yarn for making all of my stuffed animals.

The pattern includes many step-by-step photos that make it easier to follow. However, basic crochet knowledge (single crochet, spiral rounds, increases/decreases) is required.

Donnie Donkey is by no means a stubborn donkey. At 44 cm long, he’s really cuddly and perfect for being hugged all day long.

Personally, I recommend using cotton yarn for making all of my amigurumis.

The pattern includes many step-by-step photos that make it easier to follow. However, basic crochet knowledge (single crochet, increases/decreases, etc.) is required.

This somewhat dreamy-looking donkey urgently needs a few cuddles. But first you have to pick up your crochet hook.
This PDF includes a detailed step-by-step pattern on 8 pages incl. 34 pictures.

Materials:

The donkey was made with yarn from Schachenmayr Catania. The following colors were used:
  • royal
  • light blue
  • freesia
  • white
  • black
Also needed:
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • embroidery needle
  • several pins
  • stuffing
  • 8 mm safety eyes
Following this pattern, the donkey will be about 10x15x10 cm in size. (H/L/W)
The pattern is described in great detail and illustrated, making it suitable for beginners and advanced crocheters alike.

The following skills are required:

magic ring, chain stitch, turning chain, single crochet, slip stitch,
double crochet, half double crochet, increase/double stitches,
decrease/crochet stitches together, knotting hair (but this is briefly
explained with pictures)
