This beautiful knitted stole features a wave-like lace pattern.

It is knitted in a fairly fine yarn (160 m per 50 g), using 3.5 mm needles. Of course, you can also use other yarns.
The pattern includes both a knitting chart and written row-by-row instructions. It can easily be made larger or smaller for a narrower scarf or an even wider stole. Some people have also used it to knit an infinity scarf.
This pattern is not suitable for knitting beginners, but if you already have a bit of experience with lace patterns, you will enjoy it.

A scarf in double knitting technique is fun and looks good.

This way to the pattern.

The pattern was inspired by a beautiful turned wooden door I once passed by. I don’t know if they exist everywhere, but where we live, old farmhouses often have doors with all kinds of twisted motifs on them.
The technique isn’t entirely easy; a bit of experience doesn’t hurt. It is knitted with yarn (84 m/50 g) and 5 mm needles. You’ll need 5 skeins of each color. There is a knitting chart for the pattern.

This standard 5-kg plastic bucket can be turned into your new colorful craft bucket. You’ll need a bucket, 220 g of inexpensive acrylic yarn (Lisa or Bravo), and a size 3.5 crochet hook. The crochet pattern is easy to follow and very well suited for crochet beginners.

I hope you enjoy this project.

The crochet-it-yourself beachwear gets its special flair from the color-coordinated stripes. You don’t need much yarn for each model, and even as a crochet beginner you’ll quickly make the prettiest doll clothes yourself.

You get 6 patterns and can combine the colors and models however you like:
  • baseball cap
  • bikini top (with or without fringe)
  • bikini bottoms
  • miniskirt with slit
  • beach bag
  • beach blanket
Materials:
  • "Catania Fine“ (LL 165 g/50 m) or
  • „Alize Diva silk effect“ (LL 350 m/100 g; source listed in the pattern) or
  • other yarn of the same weight (leftover yarn is fine too)
  • crochet hook size 2 (or 1.75)
I hope you have lots of fun crocheting. Best regards from Ina

The beautiful ball gown gets its special flair from the waves in the skirt. You can knit the dress in one color or multiple colors. Feel free to check out my examples.

Materials:
  • 25 g of fine acrylic yarn (e.g. “Peques for Baby” by Katia, 232 m/50 g),
  • a set of double-pointed needles (size 2, length 15 cm), and
  • a crochet hook (size 1.75 or 1.5), and
  • my knitting pattern.
The pattern is also suitable for beginners if they know how to knit with a set of double-pointed needles or would like to learn. I explain and show everything in great detail, step by step. I hope you have lots of fun knitting and playing. Best wishes – “Ina strickt” ---> Click here to go directly to the pattern!

Color changes combined with a delicate lace pattern—that’s what makes the Amrun shawl special. It’s a stylish knitted shawl that goes perfectly with a casual jeans outfit.

Amrun is started with just a few stitches at the tip and knitted up to the neck edge.

You can knit this shawl with many different yarns, such as sock yarn, cotton, or other cozy yarns, and you’ll always get a great result!

The yarn used should be no heavier than DK (8-ply yarn).

Materials needed:
  • Yarn, approx. 600 meters, up to max. DK weight
  • Circular knitting needle in the appropriate size and length (I recommend an interchangeable cable system like KnitPro)
  • Stitch markers
  • Sewing needle
Skills needed:
  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • yarn overs
  • knitting stitches together
  • changing yarn (when working with multiple colors)

The pattern is 9 pages long and includes written instructions as well as professional, detailed computer-generated knitting charts.

Difficulty level: intermediate.

Vertical and horizontal stripes make the “Tausendschön” shawl a real eye-catcher. The pattern is perfect for beginners. Thanks to its shape and size, this beautiful shawl is incredibly versatile.

The little flowers—which also gave the shawl its name—are crocheted right into the design and are the highlight!

The shawl can be crocheted using yarn of various thicknesses. The size is also fully adjustable.

Materials needed:
  • Approx. 1,500 meters of 3- to 4-ply yarn (e.g., lace yarn, gradient yarn cake, or sock yarn)
  • Crochet hook size 3–4
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
  • Kitchen scale (to calculate yarn usage)
  • A little spray starch, if needed
Required skills:
  • Chain stitches
  • Single crochet
  • Slip stitches
  • Double crochet
  • Crocheting stitches together
A photo tutorial shows how to crochet the flowers.

Finished dimensions: approx. 184 x 90 cm (but can also be made smaller or larger).
The pattern is 12 pages long and includes written instructions, computer-generated crochet charts, a diagram, and a photo tutorial. Difficulty level: easy.

A wonderful design with contrasting stripes is featured in the chic knitted shawl Lorien.

The shawl is knitted from the top down; the semicircular shape is created by regular increases.

Materials needed:

  • Approx. 200 grams of yarn in the main color (should be no thicker than 6-ply)
  • 50–100 grams of contrasting yarn, which should match the weight of the main color
  • a circular knitting needle in the appropriate size
  • stitch markers
  • scissors
  • sewing needle
Skills needed:

  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • yarn overs
  • knitting stitches together

The finished shawl measures approx. 180–200 x 35–55 cm.

The pattern is 5 pages long and includes both a written-out version and detailed, computer-created professional knitting charts, as well as a link to a video tutorial for the bind-off edge.

Difficulty level: intermediate (but also very easy for ambitious beginners to knit).

Knitting Pattern Short-Sleeved Striped Cardigan

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

Stripes are totally on trend. With a top under this comfortable-to-wear cotton short-sleeved cardigan, you’ll be wonderfully dressed both for work and for your free time. And when it gets a bit cooler, you can also wear a thin turtleneck underneath.

The PDF pattern is illustrated across 23 pages.

These knitting skills are needed:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting stitches together, yarn over, emphasized decreases and increases from the horizontal strand (explained with pictures).

Difficulty level: medium

We need
for the sizes S to L in total approx. 450 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl),
100% mercerized cotton, label information: 50 g – 125 m yardage, needle size 2.5 – 3.5,
gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm with the following color distribution:

  • Blue 100 g
  • White 100 g
  • Dark green 150 g
  • Light green 100 g
Depending on the size, more or less leftover yarn will remain from each skein.

Used here: knitting needle size 3.5, 3 stitch holders and 1 cable for holding stitches, stitch markers and row counter (not absolutely necessary), pins for blocking, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

One side of this scarf features very narrow stripes. The other side has none.

You can find out how to do this here.

A knitted scarf in an elongated V-shape, with the V also appearing as a color contrast on the scarf’s surface.
The scarf is knitted from sock yarn using 3mm needles. You’ll need two different colors: 1 skein of color A and a little more than half a skein of color B. The entire scarf is simply knitted in garter stitch, but it’s not strictly a beginner’s project because there are a few subtleties involved that require careful attention.

Stripes or polka dots? No: stripes AND polka dots! The elongated triangular shawl HAMBURG AHOI is knitted in a great striped pattern and looks fantastic in many color combinations. But the icing on the cake are the bobbles crocheted on afterward. To all you non-crocheters out there: it’s really easy, and of course I’ll explain it step by step in the pattern.

I loooove stripes! And that’s why most of my animals are wearing fun striped sweaters. Meet Poldi, the cheeky frog, and Cord, the crocodile. They’re both a great size for cuddling and are just so much fun to knit. They’re not hard to knit at all, and anyone who’s ever knitted socks will have absolutely no trouble. Of course, the patterns guide you step by step through the creative process.

“Spring Magic” is a summery scarf that can also be worn as a loop, since buttons are incorporated into the design. The scarf consists of many individual stitch patterns that are suitable for beginners. Two of them are also shown in chart form for easy reference. All stitch patterns are described in detail.
The finished scarf is 25 cm wide and 206 cm long.
You’ll need 2 x 100 g of Merino Baby with a yardage of 400 m, or a comparable yarn with the same yardage. Since it’s made up of individual stitch patterns, it can of course be lengthened or shortened as desired.

Crochet pattern for a warm poncho with Möbius cowl (loop) - easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick and easy to crochet...

With this crochet technique, you can decide while crocheting how large the poncho should be – you simply stop crocheting whenever you like.

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with bulky yarn, 100 g – 100 m  (e.g., Bonbon by Rico), and a 8.0 mm crochet hook. Yarn required for both pieces: approx. 700 g.

The PDF pattern includes the poncho and Möbius scarf and has pictures, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

These crochet skills are needed:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you create is mirrored,
i.e., one horizontal half looks like a right
outside, while the second half looks like a wrong-side inside of the pattern.
This creates sophisticated effects, depending on how the scarf is wrapped
and how the pattern falls.
