Do you still have leftover yarn in various shades of green at home? You can quickly whip up a mermaid outfit for Barbie with it. If you jazz up the fishtail with a few beads, sequins, or some glittery yarn, it’ll look extra fancy.
It’s very easy to crochet—no problem even for beginners.
Here’s the pattern for download: Crochet a Mermaid Outfit for Barbie.

A dream for all green fans is the knitted shawl Auenland. The shawl was inspired by the homeland of the Hobbits from J.R.R. Tolkien’s "The Lord of the Rings".

A pretty floral pattern alternates with knit stitches, making it fun to knit even for beginners.
The edging is knitted in a wave pattern. The semi-circular shape is created by even increases.

Materials needed:

  • 2- to 4-ply yarn (lace or sock yarn weight), possibly thicker, approx. 600-800 meters
  • Circular knitting needle size 3 - 4
  • Sewing needle for weaving in the ends
  • Stitch markers (2 pieces for marking the middle stitches as described in the pattern)
Skills needed:
  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • knitting stitches together
  • yarn overs
  • increases

The size after blocking is approx. 170 x 52 cm.
Small bead tassels can be attached to the tips of the shawl, but since this is not essential and everyone can decide according to their own taste, it is not covered further in the pattern.
The pattern consists of 10 pages and includes a written version as well as detailed charts (knitting charts) and a schematic drawing.

Difficulty level: easy to intermediate.

This is the Othello Dog family :-)

The large dog is crocheted with acrylic (approx. 210 g - 50 g/133 m) and the little offspring with cotton yarn (approx. 95 g - 100 g/530 m): chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet. Increases and decreases, and then Othello is actually crocheted up quickly. Every amigurumi lover is sure to have some stuffing on hand, a long blunt needle, and you can either use teddy bear eyes or embroider them. From 50 cm (standing) to 23 cm... or somewhere in between if you use different yarn.
From beginner to pro... everyone loves Othello :-)

Einfach hier entlang :-)
    .......and find your new favorites

Have fun crocheting!

Giraffe Peppi

This is warmth, this is sunshine, this is a smile on your face :-)

The giraffe is made with fine crochet thread and will be approx. 27 cm tall. Hook size No. 2–2.5 is suitable. Some stuffing, 2 eyes, and a blunt needle. If you like to crochet with thicker yarn, it gets a bit tricky with the neck. But Peppi also looks great as a floppy toy. At least that's what my neighbor's girl says ;-) Magic ring, single crochet, and increases and decreases. With approx. 35–40 g of yarn, the giraffe is finished very quickly and can move into your home :-)

Have fun crocheting :-)

Crochet Pattern Dora the Grasshopper Lady

This is Dora, a little grasshopper lady. This bug is quite the busy bee in her skirt.

This pattern is not necessarily suitable for beginners.

Doesn't she look sweet? Dora is already really looking forward to the warm months of the year, because then she can finally hop across the meadows again.
In a 14-page PDF pattern, I have explained everything step by step and also included pictures.
Dora is approx. 25 cm tall sitting and approx. 35 cm tall standing.

Material
  • Schachenmayr Catania yarn (lots of green, approx. 5 skeins; a little lilac, pink, black)
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 2 comic eyes; crocheted eyes or other safety eyes are surely possible too)
  • stuffing
  • sewing needle
  • decorative flower for the hat
  • stitch marker
  • scissors
What is crocheted
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet
  • slip stitches
  • increases and decreases

Cardigan/Knitted Jacket Gita - Sizes 36 to 42 One Size

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A lightweight knitted piece for all seasons – whether worn over or under – simple and with an eye-catching collar area. Both patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar shaping requires a little attention,

so difficulty level: intermediate

Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap. The length is variable.

The illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Due to the relaxed shape and stretchiness of the jacket, one stitch more or less is not that crucial. So it’s no problem if 14 or 15 sts = approx. 10 cm. If your gauge differs more significantly, please choose a larger or smaller needle size. The pattern does not include a knitting course, but it does include helpful link tips.

We need
for a back length of approx. 71 cm    225 g KidSilk by Austermann, color 40 Emerald, 75% kid mohair, 25% silk, details according to the yarn label: needles 3–4, 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, hand wash, 25 g – 225 m yardage;
Other alternative yarns with label information showing a gauge of approx. 14 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 needles should be knitted with a single strand. Then calculate approx. 100 g more yarn (due to the jacket length and collar) than recommended on the label.

Used here: size 6.0 knitting needles, pins, measuring tape, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors, stitch markers, possibly a row counter.

Crochet Hat for Everyone - very easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A wonderfully easy-to-crochet hat for different styles, so ONE hat design wearable in all the variations shown, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended).

And the best part:
  • no gauge (it doesn’t come down to the centimeter),
  • no increases or decreases,
  • for any yarn you like
  • possible in all sizes.

The PDF pattern includes pictures.

You need these crochet skills: chain stitches, single crochet.
Everything else, including slip stitches, is explained. Video link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.

By the way: A crochet pattern for an infinity scarf to match this hat is also available here in my shop:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

Material
: for the pictured model with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm: approx. 250 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m, crochet hook 6.0; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
The ribbed pattern requires approx. 50 g more yarn than is usually typical for hats. The crochet hook size should match the yarn being used.

Crochet Pattern: Soccer Door Wreath

"Theodor, Theodor, he stands in our soccer goal; however the ball comes, however the shot is taken, Theodor saves it."

Of course, Theodor will also save for your favorite team if you simply choose the colors accordingly.
This door wreath is an original gift and a super decoration for
all soccer-crazy fans. The individual pieces can also be made wonderfully as
keychains or simply as small gifts. I worked with cotton, crochet thread, and thicker yarn for the wreath. The wreath has a diameter of 22 cm.

Basic crochet skills should be in place.

Here you can find the pattern

“My little green cactus is out on the balcony...”
This cactus isn’t actually meant for the balcony—it’s a pincushion, so you always know where to put your pins. But you can also place it on the windowsill. Either way, you don’t have to water it!
It’s super easy to crochet and makes an ideal first project for a beginner. You don’t even need to buy extra yarn for it—a few scraps will do the trick.
Here is the pattern: Crochet a Cactus.

Simple and beautiful in GREEN, the accordion shawl!!!

The shawl is knitted in a stair-step shape from bottom to top and gets its shape from increases at the sides and decreases along the upper edge. The pattern, with knit and purl stitches, reminds me of an accordion, hence the name of the shawl.

Both the right side and the wrong side of the shawl look lovely.

Material:
  • 1 skein Siide-Buschper, yardage 299.9 meters/120 g, color Müüslichrut
  • 1 skein Siide-Buschper, yardage 299.9 meters/120 g, color Baumtröpfli
  • The yarn is available at: https://www.siidegarte.ch/collections/yarn
  • 1 circular knitting needle, needle size 3.5
  • 1 needle for weaving in ends
  • 1 pair of scissors
The pattern includes a chart and written-out rows and is also suitable for beginners. If any questions come up, I’ll be happy to help you

My Sleepy Dino is green too. He belongs to an extremely rare species of dinosaurs whose sleepiness can be quite contagious - which is why they’re so dangerous ;-)

The pattern explains each step with plenty of pictures and is therefore also suitable for ambitious beginners with some prior experience (see below). Once completed, the Sleepy Dino is about 50 cm long. (Catania, 2.5 mm hook)

By the way: The Sleepy Dino is also available as a bundle with the pattern for the Baby Sleepy Dinos (see second picture). Be sure to check out my shop!

It’s so beautifully green! In my shop you’ll find frogs, for example Rodolfo, a crocodile, and a great neck warmer (the next winter is sure to come!) called Sherwood Forest – and as we all know, that’s green too :-) All three projects are suitable for advanced beginners who have a little patience and enjoy learning something new. That works really well thanks to my very detailed technique explanations. And experienced knitters can just get started and quickly achieve great results!
