All those advertising threads are kind of pretty empty

Hey everyone,
I think these promotional threads are nice and look good, but somehow there are more and more of them, and they contain less and less content.
@Mod: Maybe you should slow things down a bit if only a few users want to participate?
I mean, it’s great that they’re all bundled together like this, and I’m sure you, Mod, are putting a lot of work into it, but if they’re just sitting there empty, then nobody really benefits from them. It’s kind of strange, because in the other forums I hang out in, people are always eager to take advantage of every opportunity to advertise.
Anyway, I don’t want to provoke anyone here or anything—it just caught my attention.

Yeah, the advertising threads are still relatively empty, but they’re slowly filling up. We haven’t had these advertising threads for very long, and for a long time, there wasn’t even an option to present patterns in the forum at all. Of course, the vendors need time to adjust to that. But not all vendors read along here in the forum either—that could very well be another reason. But I firmly believe that the threads will fill up. You two—and everyone else reading the forum—can also do your part: the more actively you comment, the more attention these threads will get, and then, of course, more patterns will be featured.

there are definitely quite a lot of promotional threads, but that way you notice patterns that might otherwise have passed you by.

Yes, I took another look, and it seems there’s something in every advertising thread by now
how about advertising threads specifically for beginners, and others specifically for advanced crafters?
Right now, they’re more like advertising threads on specific topics, which I also think is really nice. But dividing them by skill level could be quite nice too
and then just one thread each for Crochet + Beginners, Sewing + Beginners, Knitting + Beginners, Crafts + Beginners, etc., and then the same again for advanced crafters
and you haven’t done any embroidery threads yet either; that might be a nice idea too.
