I think that’s sweet. Because with how cold it already is here in the south, it’s really high time for cozy foot warmers.
Do you have anything in the works right now? I mean, either for babies, toddlers, older kids, or even for yourselves?
I’d just be curious to hear how things are going with crocheting, knitting, and sewing for little feet.
They always say you should mainly keep your head, feet, and kidneys warm so you get through winter without a cold/the flu. But with babies and toddlers, of course, you have to wrap them up a lot more.
Tell me, how warmly do you actually bundle up your babies and children in winter?
Once children can already walk, they’re active, and that keeps them warm
but babies who are still lying in the stroller don’t move around that much, so I imagine you have to keep them much warmer. Then you probably need the full program: hat, scarf, snowsuit, jacket, anorak, warm socks, tights, shoes, mittens—a lot to do for someone who makes all of that by hand. And then babies grow very quickly, too. So you always have to make a new “collection” again and again. How long does it actually take for babies to outgrow a size?
As a craft enthusiast with a baby, are you basically crafting constantly (whenever there’s time)?
I don’t have children, so I don’t really know much about it.
But I’d love it if someone would like to share.
In any case, I wish you warm gloves, socks, and hats for winter, and few colds and runny noses :)
