Dear users, dear authors,
here in this thread you'll only find patterns that are mainly made with red yarn / fabric or red leftover yarn.
Now stock up on red yarn / red fabric and download matching red patterns.

@Authors,
here in this thread all authors can present their thematically matching patterns. 2–3 patterns per author are enough.
Don't forget the link. The image should be high quality.
Please also include information about the material, technique, difficulty level, and what makes the pattern special.
Good luck.

You’ll definitely need red yarn for this little pouch. After all, the hearts have to be red, right?

You can find the pattern here.

You’ll need two leftovers of sock yarn: 55–60 meters in red and about 40 meters in a contrasting color. It is knitted using 2.5 mm double-pointed needles.
There’s a knitting chart for the hearts.

This knitted scarf, called “Bisou,” is in a slightly more muted shade of red.

It’s knitted on 5.5mm needles, so it’s a project that comes together quickly. The yarn used is an Alpaca/merino blend with a yardage of 110m per 50g.
What makes this scarf special are the hearts knitted into it (for which there’s a knitting chart), which you can see when you get a little closer to the person wearing it. A design for lovers :-)

These little fruits are real eye-catchers, whether as a makeup bag, toiletry bag, or pencil case... With this detailed pattern, you’ll be able to crochet these fruity little bags yourself, and plenty of pictures will help you along the way. The pattern is written over 10 pages. To crochet these little bags, you’ll need: a 3.0 crochet hook, approx. 150 g of Lieblingsfarben No. 2 in the main color (chili red for the watermelon, dandelion for the orange), a particularly durable and lightweight yarn that is therefore very well suited for bags, leftovers in natural and apricot for the orange, leftovers in rouge and cactus for the watermelon Of course, you can also use other yarns, but cotton yarns are best suited large buttons for the closure, small black beads for the watermelon seeds (approx. 8 pieces). You’ll need to be able to do the following stitches: single crochet (sc), increases, slip stitches, magic ringGet the pattern here

Knitting pattern for triangular shawl and wrist warmers SIERRA ANDINA

Go to the pattern here (click me)

A wonderful combination: the triangular shawl (variable size) with matching wrist warmers without thumbs. The style is equally suitable for everyday clothing, evening dresses, as well as country-style or traditional outfits.

The download includes 2 illustrated PDF files incl. knitting chart.
A basic knitting course is not included.

These knitting skills are required:
Cast on and bind off stitches, knitting in rows and in rounds with a set of double-pointed needles, knit and purl stitches, increases from the bar between stitches and/or with a yarn over, knit stitches together through the back loop.
Overall, the pattern is quite simple and manageable even for advanced beginners.
Confident handling of the set of double-pointed needles is required for the wrist warmers.

The triangular shawl and wrist warmers shown here are knitted with a warm yarn, but they can also be made a bit more summery with a cotton yarn or similar.

Used here:
Sierra Andina (by Adriafil), 100% alpaca, recommended needle size 3.5, 50 g – 133 m, hand wash, gauge according to the ball band: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm.
Alternative yarns for the wrist warmers should match the ball-band information of the “original yarn” as closely as possible.

For the triangular shawl in the measurements knitted here, approx. 93 cm x 145 cm:approx. 300 g + circular knitting needle size 3.5, cable length at least 80 cm

For the wrist warmers, sizes XS/S – M/L – XL:
100 g for all sizes + set of double-pointed needles size 3.5

You will also need:
yarn needle for weaving in ends, tape measure, scissors, stitch marker, pins (for blocking knitted pieces)

A dream in red is the enchanting, elegant crochet shawl Fuego. It is just the right thing for festive occasions.

The pattern in this beautiful, elegant lace shawl is reminiscent of little flames, and that is where the name comes from. Fuego is Spanish and means "fire".

The shawl is started at the neck edge and crocheted from top to bottom. It has a classic triangular shape.

  • approx. 200 grams or approx. 750–800 meters of yarn (e.g. lace yarn, sock yarn, or a “cake” made of plied yarn)
  • Crochet hook size 3–3.5
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle
Skills needed:
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • treble crochet
Finished shawl measurements: approx. 180 x 80 cm.
The pattern comprises 10 pages and includes written instructions as well as charts and a schematic drawing. Easy skill level.

A dream in shades of red, like a beautiful sunrise...

Clear, almost geometric shapes alternate with an interesting color scheme in this chic knitted shawl with the beautiful name Amrun . This gives it a sporty touch and makes it the perfect accessory for a casual jeans look.
The shawl is started with just a few stitches at the tip and worked upward to the top edge.

You can knit this shawl with many different types of yarn, such as sock yarn, cotton, or other cozy yarns—you’ll always get a great result!

The yarn used should not be thicker than DK (8-ply wool).

Materials needed:
  • Approx. 600 meters of yarn, up to DK weight
  • Circular knitting needle in the appropriate size and length (I recommend a cable system like the one from KnitPro)
  • Stitch markers
  • Darning needle
Skills required:
  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • yarn overs
  • knitting stitches together
  • changing colors (when working with multiple colors)

The pattern is 9 pages long and includes written instructions as well as detailed charts.

Difficulty level: medium.

A true must-have in red yarn is the “Be My Valentine” crochet shawl.
A shawl you’ll truly fall in love with. ♥♥

The design is loose, airy, and a little playful, but not so much that it looks kitschy. With this shawl, you’ll crochet a real feast for the eyes.

  • Crochet hook in the appropriate size
  • Sewing needle for weaving in the ends
  • Time, enthusiasm, and
  • ...a little bit of love ;0)
Required skills:
  • Chain stitches
  • Single crochet
  • Slip stitches
  • Double crochet
  • Crocheting stitches together
The pattern includes a detailed photo tutorial for each row and step, as well as crochet charts. The pattern is 16 pages long.
The finished shawl measures approximately 180 x 60 cm.

Difficulty level: easy.

The decorative piece consists of two parts, each of which can also be used separately.
Finished size with the yarn listed below: approx. 7 cm in diameter.

The PDF pattern is richly illustrated.

However, any yarn you like can also be used with a suitable crochet hook size. The size of the finished piece will then change according to the yarn.

In addition, crochet hook size 2.5, scissors, and a yarn needle are needed here.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, and crocheting in rounds. The pattern includes link tips for crochet techniques.

Get Konrad the Beetle :- )

As soon as the first 3 rays of sunshine appear, the beetles come out ;-) Konrad is about 15 to 17 cm tall if you use 40 g of yarn and a size 3 hook. But he can also be crocheted with different yarn weights and hooks. Konrad is quick to make and a great way to kick off the summer. He’s crocheted using single crochet stitches, so he’s well-suited for beginners, too. Use up your leftover yarn and simply crochet your own beetle.

A beetle you can’t help but love :-)

Have fun crocheting....
