What wonderful things you can conjure up from leftover yarn :) The best example is these cute, funny, and fluffy leftover-yarn dogs. A truly colorful little bunch :) Take your leftover yarn and crochet colorful, color-coordinated,
fluffy, large or small dogs. They are crocheted in no time and will delight every heart.
- Size of the Catania leftover-yarn dogs: approx. 12 cm
- Size of the fluffy leftover-yarn dog: approx. 20 cm. Depending on the yarn and crochet hook size, the size of the leftover-yarn dogs will vary.
The pattern is also suitable for beginners thanks to the many pictures.
I crocheted the small leftover-yarn dogs with Catania yarn from Schachenmayr (yardage: 50g=125m). I crocheted the large leftover-yarn dog with Flausch yarn from myboshi (yardage: 50g = 90m)
. For the eyes of the fluffy leftover-yarn dog, I used Bravo from Schachenmayr (yardage: 50g = 133m).
Materials needed:
- Catania: light blue, approx. 20g, medium blue, approx. 20g, pink, approx. 5 g, one small leftover each in beige, bright pink, and white
- Flausch: leftovers in three different colors
- Bravo: leftovers in white and black
- Crochet hook sizes 2 / 3.5 / 4.5 and 5, embroidery needle, sewing needle, sewing thread, stuffing, and a small leftover piece of black felt
