I used ONline Linie 20 Cora yarn and a 5.0 mm crochet hook.
Thanks to the included gauge, you can also use other yarns very well (perhaps a little thinner) and a smaller crochet hook.

Crochet pattern Poncho "Elegance"

Maybe you have to go to an after-work party or a romantic dinner soon at short notice and once again have nothing suitable to wear? How about a light and airy, yet truly elegant poncho?

You can crochet the poncho longer or shorter as you like by repeating the pattern repeats as desired. The 18-page pattern includes both a crochet chart and written instructions with many step-by-step pictures.

A gauge is also provided, so you can crochet the poncho larger or smaller as you like.

Difficulty level: Easy

What you need:

Approx. 200–250 g of any yarn cake – 4-ply with glitter thread – 1000–1200 m yardage, recommended hook size 3.5

Length from neck to point approx. 50 cm in the center/35 cm side sections/43 cm to the corners

A knitted lightweight piece for all seasons – whether worn over or under – simple and with an eye-catching collar area.

Both patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar design requires a little care, so difficulty level: intermediate.

Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap. The length is adjustable.

The illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Because of the relaxed shape and stretchiness of the jacket, one stitch more or less is not that crucial. So it’s no problem if 14 or 15 sts = approx. 10 cm. If your gauge differs more significantly, please choose a larger or smaller needle size. The pattern does not include a knitting course, but does include helpful link tips.


We need
225 g KidSilk by Austermann, color 40 Emerald, 75% kid mohair, 25% silk, information according to the ball band: needles 3–4, 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, hand wash, 25 g – 225 m yardage;

Alternative yarns: e.g., Kid-Seta (Schulana) or Kid Mohair/KidSilk (Adriafil) – the same amount for the total back length of approx. 71 cm knitted here. This material is knitted with two strands held together.

You can also use yarns such as Creative Melange chunky (Rico), for example, if the ball bands indicate a gauge of approx. 14 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 needles. In that case, knit with a single strand and plan for approx. 100 g more yarn (due to the jacket length and collar) than recommended on the ball band.

Used here: size 6.0 knitting needles, pins, measuring tape, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors, stitch marker, row counter if needed.

The Bolero pattern is written so that it can be individually adjusted to any size.

• For this pattern, you should be familiar with the following stitches and terms: crocheting in rows, chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, working two double crochets together, slip stitches.
• Materials: I used 50 g (170 m) of Katia Cotton Stretch (87% cotton, 13% polyester). I used four skeins for size 38. Optional flower appliqué. Of course, any other yarn can be used as well. Size 3 crochet hook.

One size - quick and easy

Whether crocheted or knitted: a cozy piece like this is in demand all year round, whether on cool summer days, as an outdoor jacket in the transitional season, or on the couch in winter..

And yes, the crochet pattern looks knitted and is just as cuddly-soft. But knitters will get their money's worth too. The stitch pattern is very similar.

The PDF pattern is detailed and illustrated over 23 pages and includes both the crochet pattern and the knitting pattern for the soul warmer and the arm/leg warmers.

The stitches used are explained with pictures. So general crochet or knitting skills are sufficient.

Basically, any yarn you like can be used.However, the amount of yarn can vary greatly depending on your choice of yarn and needle/hook size. Details are provided in the pattern.

My yarn usage when using an alpaca yarn, 50 g – 100 m, recommended on the label for needle size 3 – 4, but used here: crochet hook size 8.0

• for the soul warmer approx. 500 g in the crochet version (approx. 800 g in the knitted version with needle size 6.0),
• for the cuffs      approx. 100 g in both versions

This comfortable, cozy knitted piece in an oversized style weighs only approx. 275 g with the yarns used here, so it is featherlight.

Both patterns used are absolutely easy. The collar shaping requires a little attention, so the difficulty level is: medium. The length is variable.

The model shown is knitted with two strands held together and needle size 6.0 from 175 g KidSilk by Austermann plus 100 g Merino Lace by Austermann. Alternatively, yarns can be chosen with a needle size suitable for the yarn, roughly matching a gauge of 17 sts = approx. 10 cm with knitting needle size 6.0, e.g. approx. 450 g Dolce Mohair (Mondial) - knitted with a single strand. Additional yarn alternatives - also without mohair - are listed in the pattern. Stitch markers are highly recommended.

The illustrated PDF pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on the gauge mentioned above. Due to the relaxed shape and stretchiness of the jacket, one stitch more or less is not all that crucial. If your gauge differs more significantly, please choose a larger or smaller knitting needle size. The pattern does not include a knitting course, but it does include relevant link tips.

Something completely different from an "off-the-rack poncho" is the knitted Swoncho Nessa.
What is a Swoncho? A swoncho is the perfect combination of a sweater and a poncho.
Thanks to the knitted-on cuffs, it always fits perfectly and nothing can slip out of place.



The Swoncho Nessa is ideal for cooler early-summer days, such as during the Schafskälte cold spell. If you leave off the collar and knit it with a delicate cotton yarn, you even have a great accessory for summer!

  

Materials needed:

• approx. 400 grams “Lippenbekenntnis” Best of by Schoppel (yardage 420 m / 100 g) or similar yarn with the same yardage
  
• Circular knitting needle 3.5–4.5 mm (I recommend an interchangeable cable system, such as Knitpro, as there will be a lot of stitches on the needle toward the end and you will need a very long cable)
  
• 9 stitch markers (8 for the raglan lines and one for the end of the round)
  
• Sewing needle for weaving in the ends
  
• Tape measure
  
• A piece of scrap yarn for the provisional cast-on
  
• Crochet hook for the provisional cast-on
  
• if needed, a set of double-pointed needles in 3.5–4.5 mm

I designed the swoncho for sizes 40–44, but it can be adapted individually to any size. You only need to measure the neck circumference, sleeve length, and wrist width.

Knitting Pattern - “Circle Cardigan - Easy”

The pattern can be adapted to any yarn weight and any size.

Difficulty level:

• 1. You’ll need to know how to use a set of double-pointed needles, since that’s how the beginning is knitted.

• 2. The armhole can be customized to fit your own size, which requires a bit of confidence in your own abilities. The exact process is described in the pattern.

Materials:
Gradient yarn with long color transitions works best. Here, 3 skeins of Katia Jaipur were used with 4.5 mm needles.

Short Pattern for a Women's Knitted Vest with Mohair

This vest is knitted with two strands at the same time, weighs only approx. 300 g, and fits over any blouse or sweater – basically in any season.

The pattern contains the images from the picture gallery and is written in text form. It is written for size 36/38, but can be very easily adjusted to larger sizes.

How to convert the gauge to individual measurements is described.

These knitting skills are required:
casting on stitches and binding off, knit and purl stitches, simple cabling (it is described), edge stitches, knitting stitches together, increases from the strand between stitches

We need:
200 g 4-ply sock yarn (e.g. Schoeller+Stahl Fortissima Mexiko Color 60% virgin wool, 25% bamboo, 15% PAM) as well as 100 g Kid Silk from Austermann (75% kid mohair, 25% silk, 25 g – 225 m for needle size 3-4 according to the label), knitting needle 6.0, cable needle (auxiliary needle), measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends, row counter is helpful.

A very lovely set consisting of a wrap vest (sizes 38/40 and 42/44) and beret!
Since this is a wrap vest, the sizes can be listed generously.
