Everyone wants a donkey that can shit money........ Inspired by the fairy tale "Table, Set Yourself," in which the gold donkey appeared, I have now crocheted a money donkey. And this donkey can not only eat money, as shown in the picture here, but when he lifts his tail, loose change also falls out of his backside. This is a great way to give a loved one a truly original money gift.

Moneyshit has a height of 27 cm (from the tip of the ear to the hoof even 44 cm) and a length of 50 cm. Of course, you can also see a few more pictures of him here, and there is a short video as well.

Difficulty level: Easy to Intermediate 

What you need:

• Gründl Lisa yarn (gray – approx. 300 g -)
• Some light gray, black, red, white, yellow (Happy by Gründl),
• Stuffing, Tic-Tac box
• A little superglue
• Tape
• Two large safety eyes
• Hook size 3.5, yarn needle and scissors

Most parts are worked in spiral rounds and joined together later.

Funny egg cozies, not just for Easter! Plus, they’re an ideal way to use up leftover yarn.

Quick and easy to knit in one evening in front of the TV, they make a last-minute little gift for any occasion.

Basic knitting skills are enough.
We knit in the round with a set of double-pointed needles. Decorations can be added as desired and with your own creativity.

Material:
Basically, any yarn can be used with a slightly smaller needle size than indicated on the label.

For 1 egg cozy: approx. 10 g – 15 g yarn (leftovers) + small bits of leftover yarn for decorating;
here: set of double-pointed needles 4.0 and crochet hook approx. 3.0 for “knotting in the hair”; yarn needle for sewing in ends, sewing needle and buttons if needed, tape measure, scissors.

Recommendation: safety eyes if the egg cozies are used as amigurumi for small children.

I personally find my goldfish really funny, especially the little runaway one.

It is knitted in rounds from the bottom up, has a knitted-in goldfish border, and the handles on top are crocheted.
You’ll need blue and yellow cotton yarn (125m per 50g), one ball of each, and a 3mm circular needle. You’ll also need a stitch marker and a crochet hook in a suitable size. That’s the basic set of supplies. If you want to line the bag, you’ll also need lining fabric, and you can also sew on a snap fastener as a closure.

Hello everyone! Our names are Lenny and Leana, and we belong to the extremely rare breed of floppy lions. We are about 17 cm tall when sitting and 30 cm long including our legs. We are very cuddly, house-trained, and tame :-). Our mom says we are easy to crochet and therefore also suitable for beginners. You should know how to do the following: crochet single crochet stitches, increase and decrease single crochet stitches, sew parts together, make slip stitches, and create a magic ring. What you need:

• Approx. 60 g of yarn in yellow/beige or orange, depending on the color you want your lions to be. My boy was made with Schoeller Stahl Zimba Medium in color 0218. The girl was also made with Schoeller Stahl Zimba Medium, in color 0022. This yarn recommends a 3.5 mm crochet hook, but I used a 3 mm hook.
• Leftover white yarn for the cheeks and the belly. This yarn should also be suitable for a 3 mm hook
• Approx. 20 g of yarn for the mane; I used Schachenmayr Brazilia eyelash yarn, color 1027, lot 2206.
• Thread for the nose and mouth, as well as a thin black thread for the eyebrows and the dots on the cheeks.
• 3 mm crochet hook
• Stuffing
• Darning needle and scissors
• 10 mm safety eyes
• Pins to hold the limbs in place while sewing them on
• Stitch marker

Length: 27 pages of detailed crochet instructions with lots of pictures showing everything step by step. I also won’t leave you in the lurch when it comes to sewing the individual parts together!
Difficulty level: Easy, suitable for beginners. However, you should already have worked in spiral rounds before and know the basics of crochet.


Now that’s a bottle cooler with a twist! If you’re invited, you can even use it as gift wrapping.
The lucky pig is crocheted using pink cotton yarn (125 m/50 g) with single crochet stitches. Just add some stuffing, googly eyes, a 3.0 mm crochet hook, and the pattern—and you’re ready to go!

Octopus Eddie is a truly cheerful fellow. And he’s really fun to crochet.
Eddie is actually an egg cozy, because he keeps the breakfast eggs nice and warm in his tentacles. But you can also use him as decoration, or for example in the bathroom, where you can store small items in his tentacles, such as small cream jars, shampoos, shower gel, etc.

Gray rainy day? No problem. Just crochet yourself these two funny friends and bring a little color into everyday life :-)
Approx. 200 g hat yarn (150g/165m) for the body and approx. 100 g fluffy yarn or mohair-style yarn for the rest. Hook size 5, some stuffing, a blunt needle, and two eyes. Fussel and/or Flocke are crocheted quite quickly with the thicker yarn. Chain stitches, single crochet, increases and decreases. This is also a project for ambitious beginners that will make a rainy weekend a little brighter :-)
Your leftover winter yarn can still be turned into something cozy when it's already too warm for a hat or scarf. 
Fussel and Flocke can of course also be crocheted with any other yarn; this will only change their size from the current approx. 35 cm and the amount of material needed.

I’m Emil. I actually wanted to be a duck. But life as a raven isn’t so bad either. Little girls always think I’m extra cute, and big boys think I’m cool. I’m a fun-loving guy, and boredom is a foreign concept to me. My favorite thing is doing silly stuff all day long :-)

Single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet stitches, two eyes, and stuffing. Use whatever yarn you have at home. At least 70 g if you’re crocheting with acrylic. A little more if you’re using cotton.
It’s best to get started right away—then I can lounge comfortably on the couch with you :-)
