Crochet Pattern: Soccer Ball Wreath

Details & Pattern

All kids love balls, and many dream of becoming soccer stars one day. This wreath brings that dream a little closer. Theodor is already a soccer star and can make the children’s room more fun and colorful.

He’s not that hard to crochet, but it does take a little while.

Raupelina is definitely a wonderful decoration for a child’s room. She can peek down from a shelf or keep watch in the crib. She’s easy to knit and will instantly capture the heart of the child who receives her.

You’ll need:
About 150 scraps of yarn, two needles or a set of double-pointed needles for needle size 2.5–3.0.
1 yarn needle and an appliqué, or alternatively felt in black or another color.
A sewing needle, a yarn needle, two 3.0 needles, or a set of double-pointed needles size 3.0.

It is knitted entirely in stockinette stitch—that is, knit on the right side and purl on the wrong side.

Everything ready? Then let’s get started. In the pattern, the pictures always show you what to do and how the knitted piece should look from the outside.

Every child likes sitting on the floor, so why not make it a little more comfortable?

The finished cushion measures about 29 cm in diameter and has a height of approx. 30 cm.
Gauge is listed as always—for any adjustments!

A chart guides you through the check pattern.
The included cutting layout also makes finishing easier.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Such a little big cuddly cloud fits perfectly in a child's room ♥

The crochet pattern is very beginner-friendly. You can crochet the cloud with any yarn you like and a matching hook size! With the specified yarn, the (pink) cloud will be about 36 cm wide and 21 cm tall.

This cute caterpillar is perfect not only as a table decoration for a birthday, but also works as a fun night light. Depending on the child’s age, it can be expanded as much as you like. You can’t blow out the candles, but on the other hand, nothing can
happen.

The sweet butterfly pair, dancing in the first truly warm rays of sunshine, is a perfect window decoration for a child’s room: The cute butterfly faces will make every child smile, and the delicate pastel colors fit wonderfully, too.

The picture is made from photo cardstock and transparent paper; each butterfly is approx. 37 x 36 cm. The colors can easily be changed as desired and adapted to the child’s individual taste. The picture is not particularly difficult to craft, but you should have some crafting experience.

Decorating a child's room is really fun. The selection of colors, motifs, decorative items ... there are so many wonderful things.

Here I’d like to present two decorative pillows from my shop. They are especially suitable for a girl's room, or of course for a baby's room too.

To the pattern: Crochet pattern - crochet an “Owl” pillow cover
To the pattern: Crochet pattern - crochet a “Flower Meadow” pillow cover

Both pillows are 40 x 40 cm in size. The pillows are filled with an insert and then completely closed. To wash them, simply put the whole thing in the machine and wash according to the yarn manufacturer’s recommendation.

The stitches needed are chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, and treble crochet. Ambitious beginners can also crochet the pattern.

You can make this beautiful and large floor cushion yourself. It is approx. 52 cm in diameter and approx. 65 cm high. However, the width/height can be adjusted as desired.  The pattern is illustrated in detail and suitable for beginners with basic crochet knowledge.
  • For this pattern, you should know the following stitches and terms: magic ring, chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crochet stitches together.
  • Material: You are welcome to use any yarn you like, but T-shirt yarn is best. You will find my personal yarn recommendations in the pattern.
  • Material usage depends on the size of the beanbag; I used approx. 1900 g of yarn. Crochet hook size 7.
Here is the pattern
