Do you know a nice person who loves to sew? Then bring them this fun pincushion instead of flowers sometime! With the cute cactus on the sewing table, you always know where to put the pins, and it’s also very decorative.
Pick out a few matching leftover yarn scraps and a crochet hook, and you’re ready to get started. Even beginners won’t have any problem with this pattern. You can find it here: Crochet a cactus

These cute little dolls brighten up the windowsill and also make great table decorations. They all have movable arms and legs, so they can strike different poses. You’ll have them crocheted in no time. Even beginners who’ve done a little crocheting before will find the pattern easy to follow.

I always have these balloon covers on hand. And if I don’t, they’re super quick to knit from leftover yarn when a last-minute invitation comes up. You should always have balloons at home, too. The covers are a huge hit with little and big kids alike.
All you need is leftover yarn, no matter the weight, knitting needles, and balloons.
And here you can find the pattern...

When you're invited, you like to bring a nice bottle along. How about this original wrapping?

This funny bottle pig is sure to attract a lot of attention and at the same time wish you lots of luck. It can also be used later as an original table decoration.
The bottle cover is crocheted entirely in single crochet and is therefore no problem even for beginners. You'll need about 100 g of pink cotton for hook size 2.5 - 3, some stuffing, a crochet hook, and googly eyes (or you can embroider the eyes).
You can download the pattern here.

For ...fans - for parties - for Mother's Day/Father's Day, etc.  ..

Bottle Outfit Black-Red-Gold - crocheted

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

.. an original gift wrap for wine and sparkling wine bottles– an eye-catcher at any party.. for her a “bottle petticoat” and for him a “bottle suit with bow tie” crocheted.

Yarn scraps
can be used up wonderfully this way.

We need
only about 25 g per bottle per color, so about 75 g of a yarn for crochet hook size 2.5. Otherwise, pretty much any yarn that is labeled for a hook size no thicker than 3.0 is suitable.
We also need a measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, a stitch marker is helpful (a contrasting thread will do, too), and of course standard wine or sparkling wine bottles.

Both patterns are included in one PDF and are shown in detail with pictures over 15 pages.
The pattern is not a basic crochet course, but it does include a helpful link tip for those with less experience.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, crocheting in rows and rounds, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet. Front and back post double crochet are explained and illustrated.

Crochet Scarf/Cowl & Headband “Playful” in a Simple Shell Pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

What a lovely little gift!

The scarf can also be sewn together and worn as a cowl (wrapped twice around the neck), basically in any season. Add the matching headband, and you have a pretty (gift) set.

Experienced crocheters can crochet both quickly in one weekend.

I made the set with summery cotton yarn, here Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo, 50% cotton / 50% viscose,50 g – 120 m, recommended hook size according to the label 3 - 4, here using crochet hook size 4.0;gauge according to the label 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm Please choose alternative yarns (e.g., Merino Extrafine 120 by Schachenmayr) according to the details above.

Yarn needed / finished measurements:

  • 150 g for the scarf/cowl: approx. 14 cm x 140 cm – length variable
  • 50 g for the headband - size variable

The 8-page PDF pattern is illustrated, but requires the following basic crochet skills : chain stitches, double crochet, single crochet, crocheting in rows.

A link explaining the basic skills is included in the PDF.

Difficulty level: easy – also suitable for advanced beginners.

Also a quick crocheted little gift:

Crochet Möbius Collar 1-2-3-4

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This collar wonderfully jazzes up sweaters and shirts.

It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and can be finished quickly in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.

Other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, however, the pattern shows to better advantage in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

For the illustrated PDF pattern you only need basic crochet skills (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

How about a little gnome as a gift? You can hide all sorts of things inside...
This cute gnome family not only looks adorable, but they also serve a lot of useful purposes:

  • You can wrap gifts inside them (e.g., money, jewelry, candy, and much more).
  • They’re a huge hit as egg cozies.
  • They make a sweet little gift for young and old alike.
  • They keep your knitting and crochet supplies safe, such as buttons.
  • They can also store jewelry inside their bodies.
  • They also work well as Advent calendars.
  • They’re a huge hit at kids’ birthday parties and are sure to bring lots of joy.
  • And of course, they’re also a great toy for kids.

Wherever these cute little gnomes are placed, they spread joy and good cheer! :-)
A nice gift like this is always well-received, not just for Secret Santa.

I’d describe the difficulty level as easy. It just takes a little patience and skill to shape the faces.

Beginners with basic skills can easily and quickly recreate these gnomes.

The individual steps are described in detail in the pattern. The PDF file includes 21 pages and 53 individual photos.

How about bringing along a fun gift like the gnome house, which can be used in all kinds of ways anywhere. It holds quite a lot and looks decorative. The gnome house is quick and easy to crochet with the pattern if you have basic crochet skills.

For me, it’s a great place to store yarn. The door is open at the top, so all those little things like needles or buttons, for example, can be stored away nicely.

For children, the house is a wonderful toy they’ll be excited about—together with the gnomes, which are also available in my shop. And at breakfast, everyone in the family will be in a good mood right away when the rolls are hidden in this gnome house. After all, it’s not just children who enjoy it.

You can also leave off the face if you like. Even as a house without decoration, it looks very decorative and can be used in just as many ways.

Here’s the crochet pattern for the gnome house.
