Dear users, dear authors,
Easter is over, but egg cups and egg cozies are still always useful for a decorative and cozy breakfast table.
How about matching your new egg cups / egg cozies by color with the new table runner and the bread basket?

@CP-Autoren,
this is a promotional thread for all CP authors.
2-3 patterns with egg cups and egg cozies per author are enough.
Link and image, as well as material info, technique info, difficulty level info, and details about what makes the pattern special, must not be missing.

Crochet yourself the funny elephant egg cozies

Go directly to the crochet pattern here

Decorate your breakfast table with these truly unusual and original elephant egg cozies! They are an absolute eye-catcher and make every breakfast an experience. They are very quick to crochet and make great gifts. The pattern is also perfect for crochet beginners. You should know how to do the following:
  • Make a magic ring and crochet in spiral rounds
  • Crochet single crochet stitches
  • Sew on the individual pieces
  • So you should know the basics of crochet ;-)
What you need:
  • Approx. 15 g craft yarn (preferably 100% cotton, so the egg cozies turn out nice and sturdy) in light blue or gray. Depending on which color you want your elephant to be. The craft yarn should be suitable for a 3 mm crochet hook
  • Leftover yarn in white or cream for the tusks. These leftovers should be suitable for a 2 mm crochet hook
  • 3 mm + 2 mm crochet hooks
  • Googly eyes and super glue
  • Scissors and darning needle
  • Stitch marker

Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

Spruce up your breakfast table with these cute little sheep egg cups and egg cozies! They’re absolute eye-catchers and keep your breakfast eggs nice and warm. They also make great gifts :-) Each crochet pattern costs €1.50 individually. Buy them as a set and save 30%! What you’ll need for the sheep egg cozies
  • Approx. 15g of yarn (it’s best to use 100% cotton craft yarn, which makes the egg cozies nice and sturdy. Of course, you can also use any other type of yarn) in white or brown, suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. Leftover yarn in green.
  • A darning needle and scissors
  • Some stuffing for the head
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Googly eyes and superglue
What you’ll need for the sheep egg cups
  • A 3mm crochet hook and approx. 15–20g of craft yarn/wool in the color of your choice (white, cream, beige, brown, black... sheep come in all sorts of colors ;-) ). This yarn should be suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. I crocheted the sheep using 100% cotton yarn, which makes them nice and sturdy.
  • Some stuffing for the head and feet
  • A darning needle and scissors
  • Googly eyes and superglue
A 31-page crochet pattern with lots of pictures!
Difficulty level: medium, but easy to follow thanks to the many pictures. These sheep shouldn’t be your first crochet project. To give the sheep a better fleece look, I use “bobble stitches.” I explain this technique at the beginning of the pattern and illustrate it with pictures, so you’ll pick it up in no time ;-). All the other steps are also illustrated and explained with plenty of pictures, making the pattern easy for everyone to follow.

With the “Marilla” egg cozy, shaped like an upside-down flower, you’ll add a delicate splash of color and a spring-like atmosphere to your breakfast table. Since only basic crochet skills are required, these egg cozies are a great, quick project for ambitious beginner crocheters . Special techniques like picot stitches are explained in detail in the pattern. All you need is leftover yarn in three colors.

By the way: The “Marilla” egg cozy is also available as part of the “Marilla” breakfast set of the same name, which includes a placemat, a cutlery pouch, and an egg cozy. Feel free to check out my Shop :-)

Hen and rooster egg cozies aren’t just for Easter. They’ll brighten up your breakfast table all year round. This project lets you use up your leftover yarn, and you’ll always have a little something to bring along or give as a gift.
Each step is described in the illustrated pattern. So even beginners who’ve done a little crocheting shouldn’t have any trouble making this pretty table decoration.
Catania yarn by Schachenmayr was used, but you can also use something else as long as you match the gauge.
