The weather forecast is perfect for a relaxing crochet weekend, and I have just the right pattern for it.

With the crochet pattern for the Blue Lagoon shawl, you can crochet yourself a South Seas dream of sun, beach, sea, and palm trees.

The shawl looks especially beautiful with gradient yarn, but it can also be made in a solid-colored yarn.

Materials needed:
  • approx. 1200 meters of sock-weight yarn (e.g., 4-ply gradient cake, Zauberball by Schoppel)
  • Size 4 crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle
  • (Optional) material for tassels
Skills needed:
  • Basic skills
  • Front post double crochet
  • Back post double crochet
  • Crochet stitches together
Measurements after completion: approx. 190 x 70 cm.

Difficulty level: easy (for ambitious beginners) to intermediate.

The pattern has 11 pages and includes detailed written instructions as well as detailed and professionally created crochet charts and a schematic drawing.

The current weather is also perfect for knitting. How about a pretty scarf with a delicate lace pattern, for example?

Then I recommend the knitting pattern for the Meril scarf. The scarf can also be knitted as a stole.

If you want to turn the pattern into a cowl or loop, simply knit a few buttonholes at the beginning or end.

Materials needed:
  • Approx. 150–200 grams of sock yarn or lace yarn (depending on how large you want the scarf or stole to be)
  • Knitting needles appropriate for the yarn weight
  • A sewing needle to weave in the ends
  • Possibly some spray starch
Skills required:
  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • Yarn overs
  • Knitting stitches together
  • Slipping stitches
  • Reading knitting charts
The pattern is 7 pages long and includes detailed knitting charts (no written instructions!) as well as a diagram. Difficulty level: medium.

Baby Traditional Knit Cardigan Size 50/56 incl. gauge conversion table

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

..THE traditional classic in miniature..

For this easy-to-knit traditional baby cardigan, you will need approx. 100 g, e.g. Zimba Top by Schoeller+Stahl in classic traditional gray + 50 g (or leftover yarn) Regia 4-ply for the edging knitted in traditional green, knitting needle size 3.0, and if needed, for the decorative foundation chain on the front band, a 3–3.5 mm crochet hook.

The PDF file is illustrated.

You will also receive an Excel table for quickly converting your gauge to your desired size (suitable for both knitted and crocheted pieces). This table requires spreadsheet software such as Excel or LibreOffice (the latter is available free of charge online).

Basic knitting skills are required.
Required knitting skills: long-tail cast-on, knit stitches, bind off, increase stitches (from the strand between stitches), yarn over (for the buttonholes), knit 2 stitches together.

By the way: This cardigan can also be knitted without sleeves (then crochet around the armholes once in green with single crochet) as a vest.

Easy Baby Crochet Shoes

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This is an illustrated crochet pattern for easy-to-crochet baby shoes.

Basic crochet skills are enough.

We need:
approx. 50 g cotton (blend) yarn with a yardage of approx. 90 m per 50 g, for knitting needle size 4.0–5.0; used here: crochet hook 4.5; however, thinner yarn can also be used—the given measurements are what matters (check gauge), leftover yarn for the bows or 2 pretty buttons, yarn needle, measuring tape, scissors.

In addition to the detailed pattern, I have also created a short crochet pattern (sketch) as well as a short pattern for the knitted version.

By the way: cash gifts can also be “wrapped” this way..

Do you already know Adele, the sweet little unicorn girl with the cheeky curls?
She loves to enchant the people around her and snatches flowers from the neighbor's garden. But most of all, she loves playing with little human children and protects everyone who means well by her.

Although you need a few basic crochet skills (chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet) and a little practice with amigurumi crochet for this pattern, Adele is easy to make and can be finished easily in a weekend.

To crochet your own little Adele, you will need the following materials:
  • Cotton yarn in white, beige, red, and pink, plus a small amount in light green and gold or dark yellow - approx. yardage 125 m/50
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook
  • Stuffing material
  • Brown safety eyes, 12 mm
So bring the magic into your home too and crochet the enchanting little unicorn lady Adele. You can find the pattern here >>>

Brighten up your breakfast table with these truly unusual and original elephant egg cozies! They are an absolute eye-catcher and make every breakfast an experience. They are very quick to crochet and make wonderful gifts. The pattern is also perfect for crochet beginners. You should know how to do the following:

  • Sewing on the individual pieces
  • So you should have mastered the basics of crochet ;-)
What you need:
  • Approx. 15g craft yarn (preferably 100% cotton, so the egg cozies will be nice and sturdy) in light blue or gray. Depending on which color you want your elephant to be. The craft yarn should be suitable for a 3mm crochet hook

The weekend weather is supposed to be rather dreary. So why not get out the crochet hooks again? These shells are an ideal weekend project:

They’re not nearly as difficult as they might look. You can use any yarn you like for them. (They turn out especially beautiful with gradient yarn.) So they’re perfect for using up tiny bits of leftover yarn. A beautiful decoration for the bathroom or the patio! It instantly creates a bit of that summer feeling. Here is the pattern: Crochet shells

This scarf, knitted from a ball of sock yarn, makes for a lovely and relaxing weekend project. What makes it special is its diagonal look, which comes from the fact that it’s actually knitted on the diagonal. It tapers to a point at the ends, and a lace edge keeps the knitting from getting boring. Gradient yarns work very well and really bring out the pattern.
You can also use this pattern to make a wider shawl.

A simple girls' jacket is something you need now and then in spring and summer, too!

The exceptional border makes all the difference.
This vest has no button band at all—so it is worn open.

This pattern is designed for sizes 98/104, 110/116, and 122/128.
However, the included pattern template and the gauge make it possible to make any size.

And this way to the pattern...

This crocheted summer dress—made in cool cotton—is perfect for summer days at the beach, at the pool, or simply for a stroll through town to a café!
The skirt length reaches just above the knee, so the dress is also suitable for evening outings :-)

The pattern is simple yet refined—so it’s absolutely recommended for beginners, too!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, the pattern also includes a crochet chart.

This pattern is designed for sizes S-M and M-L.
However, the included template and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

And this way to the pattern...
