Getting married can be really stressful. There is a lot to take care of. And if you also want to handle some of the tasks yourself, good advice can be hard to come by. Here on Crazypatterns we have plenty of patterns you can use to make models for a wedding.

Materials needed:

• approx. 700–900 meters of yarn (depending on the type of yarn used—e.g., a “Bobbel”, lace yarn, or sock yarn)

Skills required:

• Chain stitches

• Double crochet
• Decreasing
• Half double crochet
• Slip stitches

The pattern includes a detailed photo tutorial for each row and step, as well as crochet charts. The pattern is 16 pages long.
Difficulty level: easy.

The finished shawl measures approximately 180 x 60 cm.

The knitted Tinúviel shawl is a gorgeous accessory for the wedding of your dreams.

 

Tinúviel is a large, crescent-shaped shawl designed specifically for Schoppel’s “Laceball 100” and “Zauberball 100” lace yarns, but it can also be knitted with any other lace yarn. The yarn you choose should not be thicker than standard lace yarn, otherwise it might lose its light and airy character.
This delicate shawl is knitted from top to bottom, with even increases along the edge and within the shawl to create its shape.

Materials needed :

• approx. 800 meters of lace yarn (e.g., Laceball by Schoppel)
• Circular knitting needle, size 3–4 mm
• Beads (e.g., rocailles)
• A piece of very thin wire or dental floss
• Sewing needle
• Scissors
• Kitchen scale

Required skills:

• Knit stitches
• Purl stitches
• Yarn overs 
• Knit stitches together
• Reading knitting charts

If you decide to incorporate beads, you’ll find a short tutorial on how to knit them in later in the pattern.
The pattern is 9 pages long and includes detailed knitting charts (no written instructions) and a diagram.

This bolero in white over a white wedding dress:

All-Season Bolero Size S/M - knitted

This simple bolero can be worn in warmer seasons with a top underneath, or, for example, over a fine turtleneck in the colder seasons as a shoulder warmer. In white with a wedding dress, and knitted in black, it goes wonderfully with any formal dress.

This bolero is made from 200 g of especially soft 4-ply sock yarn STEP by Austermann (with aloe vera and jojoba oil), using size 4.0 knitting needles, in seed stitch and stockinette stitch.

The advantage of sock yarn is that it becomes wonderfully lightweight, and the knot-free yardage of approx. 420 m/100 g is fantastic, meaning fewer ends need to be woven in :-). Of course, another (lace) yarn of the same weight can also be used. However, it really should be the same weight/yardage, as I specifically worked out the curve for this.

The PDF pattern is illustrated with 14 photos (but is not a basic knitting course).

A beautiful shawl is an absolute must for the happiest day of your life. I’d like to introduce you to my Snow White Shawl.
In festive white with a stripe as a pop of color, it highlights the bride’s beauty. It’s easy to knit; the pattern is written out row by row and includes knitting charts, and it can be made in any size you like.
You’ll need sock-weight yarn—about 350m of white and about 70m of red for a shawl with a 150cm span. For a larger shawl, please plan for more yarn accordingly. Knit with 4mm needles.

This bride and groom in love make a beautiful, original wrapping for a cash gift or voucher. They also look great as a decoration on a wedding cake. I have a beautiful stole to offer. A champagne reception and a knitted stole go hand in hand :-)
It’s knitted lengthwise and features an enchanting lace pattern, which is written out and illustrated in a knitting chart. Once the lace pattern is finished, you continue with simple ribbing. The advantage of this is that you can simply stop as soon as you’ve reached the desired width.
You’ll need 4-ply sock yarn (approx. 600m—yarn usage depends on the width) and a 4mm circular needle.

A wedding is all well and good, but afterward it gets down to the nitty-gritty. A household is being set up, the young couple often has to furnish everything from scratch, they’re short of all kinds of things—in short, the bride and groom are happy to receive gifts. Often it’s money or useful items like kitchen machines, vacuum cleaners, pots, and things like that—of course they can use those. But if there’s also a little handmade something extra, then the whole thing becomes a bit more personal.

It is knitted using the double-face technique (not quite easy), but it’s quick to make. You’ll need leftover cotton yarn in two different colors, approx. 50 m per color.

Crochet pattern for wedding doves



Wedding season has long since begun, and now it’s high time to start thinking about a wonderful and personal wedding gift. And what could be more personal than something you made yourself?

This enchanting, love-struck bride and groom are just waiting to be crocheted.

For this project, you’ll need:

• Yarn, e.g., Schachenmayr Catania in the colors white, black, soft apricot (skin tone), maroon, and camel (or other hair colors of your choice)
  
• Crochet hooks sizes 2.5 and 2.0 mm, sewing needle, stuffing, 6 mm safety eyes, sewing thread in red and black, blush, scissors

The crochet pattern uses single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, and treble crochet stitches. The two little cuties will be about 20 cm tall.
