Sognidora

My interpretation of a dragon’s tail is called Sognidora.
The name of the shawl is derived from Italian and roughly means “Sweet dreams! ” And that’s exactly what you’ll have while knitting this shawl—once you’ve got the pattern down, you can simply drift off into a daydream as you knit and look forward to the color changes .

Speaking of color: You can knit the shawl in your favorite colors and with your favorite yarns. My materials list is just a suggestion. But I’ll admit, I love the shawl exactly as it is! Especially the soft merino wool !

  • Knitting skill level: The shawl is relatively easy to knit. The pattern is written out in detail.
  • Materials: 1 skein of “Träumerei” – by MaggieP – Wolltraeume, 500 m, 4-ply, proportionally wound with plenty of turquoise,
circular knitting needle size 4.5 mm
  • Size of the shawl when lightly stretched using these materials: approx. 205 x 60 cm (However, the shawl can be knitted larger or smaller as desired.)
  • Bonus: To go with the shawl pattern, there’s also a pattern for a simple hat and wrist warmers! The pattern bundle includes all 3 patterns in one!

this somewhat different shape of shawl has 8 points and is knitted with
short rows,

some knitting experience would be good, but once you’ve knitted the 1st point,
all the others almost work up by themselves,

point by point, a great look is created; with yarn with a long color gradient
the shawl turns out especially beautiful!

If you have any questions, I’ll of course be happy to help!
