Do you have old yogurt jars and leftover yarn? Then you can crochet these wonderful lanterns. They also make a great gift when you need a little something quickly. But you can use them in many ways around your own home, too. As decoration in the living room. As a lovely light on mild summer nights. As a tealight holder for scented candles.

The crocheted jars can also be made by beginners. The pattern contains lots of pictures and detailed step-by-step instructions. The only stitch types needed are chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochets, and double crochets.

Following the “Lichterzauber” jars, I’d like to introduce the “Lichterschein” lanterns. Here, too, I used a large empty yogurt jar and used up my leftover yarn. These crochet-covered jars also make a great decoration and gift idea.

The pattern includes many pictures and detailed step-by-step instructions. These crochet-covered jars are also particularly suitable for beginners, as only basic stitches are used here as well.
