Choo choo choo, here comes the train! Isn’t the little train cute? Even the very little ones can play with it, because it is very sturdy, can be tossed around without getting damaged, and can even come along to bed in the evening if the little train driver can’t bear to part with it. And if it gets dirty, it simply goes into the washing machine. It is big enough for small dolls (Playmobil, Lego Duplo) to ride along.
The train is very easy to crochet, because it consists only of single crochet stitches. Only sewing the individual pieces together requires a little patience. The cars are coupled together with Velcro fasteners. In the pattern, every single step is explained in detail.
Here is the pattern for the locomotive .
And here’s the link to the cars.

What child doesn’t sit in front of a puppet theater with shining eyes? Soon enough, the children want to play with the puppets themselves, too. With these finger puppets, you can easily crochet a mini puppet theater yourself.
The value pack includes the pattern for the 10 most common puppet theater characters: Kasperl, Gretel, Seppel, Grandmother, Robber, Policeman, Princess, King, Witch, and Crocodile. The finger puppets are very easy to crochet; all you need is a few bits of leftover yarn, preferably cotton, which you’re sure to have at home. The pattern is written in a way that leaves plenty of room for your own creativity; you can design the little puppets however you like.
And if 10 puppets are too many for you at first: the Kasperl puppets are also available in my shop as patterns in pairs.

Finger puppets  are a popular children's toy. However, many store-bought finger puppets have small parts sewn or glued on. If little ones then put them in their mouths, there is a risk that they could swallow them. If you crochet the finger puppets yourself, you can be sure that the material is safe.
Here is a selection of patterns for finger puppets from my shop:

Craft-loving boys and girls will adore construction worker Herbärt!
The hardworking bear is the ideal playmate for the kids’ room construction site or outside on the playground.
After work, you can take off Herbärt’s construction worker clothes, and then he’s just a normal teddy bear who loves to come along to bed for cuddles.

All you need is crochet yarn in your desired colors (recommendation: cotton with a yardage of 125 m / 50 g), a matching crochet hook, a small button, stuffing, and (if desired) safety eyes.
Any enthusiastic crafter is sure to already have scissors for cutting the yarn ends and a sewing needle at home :)

You should know the following: crocheting in rounds, crocheting in rows, chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, color changes, decreases, and increases.

So, get the pattern here and start right away! :)

Have fun crocheting and later hanging out with Herbärt on the construction site! :)

A very creative toy is this gnome house—together with the funny gnomes. Both are quick and easy to crochet using the respective patterns if you have basic crochet skills.

In the evening, it serves as a bedroom for the gnomes. They go to bed together with the children ... in their house. And they can even take quite a few things with them, as you'll see in a moment.

May I introduce them: this is the gnome family that belongs with the gnome house. Many treasures can be hidden inside them and tidied away creatively. Children will surely have a thousand ideas for what they can do with them. A gift like this is always well received.

How about, for example, having gnomes like these as an Advent calendar this year, and on December 24 they get their house?

Here is the crochet pattern for the gnome house.
