Everyone knows surprise eggs. With this Easter bunny and chick, you'll have four times the fun:

  • First bit of fun: First, you have to eat 2 surprise eggs. You'll need the inner capsule from them.
  • Second bit of fun: Crochet the chick and Easter bunny around the capsule. It's so easy that you'll really enjoy it.
  • Third bit of fun: Now hide a little surprise inside and give the bunny or chick to someone special.
  • Fourth bit of fun: See the surprised face and joy of the recipient when they discover what you've hidden inside.

Easter just isn't the same without decorations... and HANDMADE can't be topped!

With a little practice, a decorative egg can be knitted and finished in just under an hour! So there’s still plenty of time to fill the "Palmkatzerlstrauss"!

A detailed, illustrated e-book (14 pages) guides you through 11 different patterns. It explains step by step how to make the decorative egg.

For more details, just click on the image below.

These wool chickens haven’t laid an egg yet; they’re waiting until Easter,

they are very easy to make and well explained; they are knitted alternately with yarn and eyelash yarn
using double-pointed needles size 3 or 3.5

they are something special as an Easter decoration!

Here is the pattern

Once upon a time there was a little egg that wanted so much to be a bunny. So it started dressing up, beginning right away with the nose. And long ears were needed, too, along with two big feet. A carrot quickly in its hand… and there it was… the little cutie.....

Got another ball of yarn lying around that you’ve already started? And a few scraps? Then Henry is perfect for that.
Crochet your own Easter bunny egg. Henry can be crocheted with any yarn weight. Only the size will change.

The Easter bunny egg is crocheted pretty quickly. Approx. 45 g wool/yarn, a little stuffing, and the right hook for the yarn.
Single crochet, increases and decreases.
If you start now, you’ll have a whole Easter egg bunny family finished by Easter :-) Ideal as decoration, for little ones to cuddle, and as a small gift to bring to an Easter invitation.

Have fun crocheting !

Do you still need something for your Easter basket?

How about colorful eggs, crocheted very quickly?
What to do with leftover yarn? Here is the solution: you don’t need much yarn for the eggs. You can choose the colors creatively, according to your wishes and imagination.
