Dear users, dear authors,
red like a cherry, an apple, a rose - summer has plenty of magnificent shades of red to offer. These can be wonderfully incorporated into handmade patterns.
Here in this thread you can discover suitable patterns.

@Authors,
please present patterns here that can be easily made with red yarn or red paper. 2-3 patterns per author are enough.
Link and image, material info, technique info, difficulty level info, and details about what makes the pattern special should not be missing.

Are you looking for a table or window decoration? Do you still need something suitable for Mother’s Day? Then I have just the thing for you: This delicate heart is cut out of photo cardstock and can be used both as a window decoration and as a small doily.

The heart measures approximately 28 x 25 cm and is cut out directly from the template, so there’s no need to trace the template onto the photo cardstock. To cut out this heart, all you need is a little patience and some experience using a craft knife.

This beetle is a must-have in spring and summer. Doesn’t he look cute with his funny eyes and the little flowers all over?
Blümli loves flowers, so he has decorated himself with them too. I have explained everything step by step for you in a PDF file and included lots of pictures. This makes it very easy for you to recreate the beetle. Depending on the yarn used, the ladybug will be approx. 17 cm long (from the head), 10 cm high, and approx. 13 cm wide. To crochet the ladybug, you need the following basic skills
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet
  • magic ring
  • increases and decreases
  • simple sewing
Thanks to the detailed explanation, this pattern is also quite suitable for beginners. I’m also happy to help at any time. Material
  • Yarn (black and red)
  • stuffing
  • cartoon eyes/safety eyes approx. 10 mm
  • crochet hook 2.5
  • sewing needle
  • craft glue

And here is the pattern

Red is a beautiful color and adds a pop to any outfit.

How about this red bobble loop scarf?

Quick to knit, and the bobbles make it something a bit different.

The pattern is written out in full, includes a chart and photos showing how you can join the loop at the end and how a bobble is knitted; it’s all explained clearly.

So, tempted?

Then take a look here

Even beginners shouldn’t have any problems with this pattern. But if you still have any questions, feel free to send me an email.

And the great thing is: until 31 March, there’s a 30% discount on the pattern

Kids also look fresh and colorful in red clothes. How about a lightweight summer cotton sweater with a polo collar? It can be worn all year round and is quick to knit. What makes it special: it only needs to be sewn together at the top of the shoulder and a tiny section under the arm.

The comprehensive pattern covers all steps, some with photos, and is designed for size 86–92. It’s a great project for beginners with some experience.

I’ve described exactly what prior experience you’ll need and what materials you’ll require in my shop. Click here for the polo sweater for toddlers:

Fuego means fire, and the pattern in this beautiful red shawl looks like little flames flickering upward.

The shawl is crocheted from top to bottom. Since the pattern consists only of single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet, it is wonderfully suitable for beginners.

Materials needed:

  • approx. 200 grams or approx. 750–800 meters of yarn (e.g., lace yarn, sock yarn, or a “Bobbel” made from plied yarn)
  • crochet hook size 3–3.5
  • scissors
  • sewing needle
Finished shawl measurements: approx. 180 x 80 cm.
The pattern is 10 pages long and includes written instructions as well as charts and a schematic drawing. Difficulty level: easy.

And the best part: For a short time, you can still save up to 25% on the pattern price.

Once finished, the heart measures approx. 13 x 13 cm (when using the specified hook size and yarn weight).

The contents of this gift box remain a surprise until the very end, because what it hides is only revealed layer by layer.

The box looks much more complicated than it is. Admittedly, it took me a while until everything fit the way it should—so that step is already done. All that’s left for you is the crafting itself, and with the help of the template drawings and the detailed pattern, it’s no problem at all.
The box is made from photo cardstock and measures approx. 19 x 12 x 22 cm.
