Discover exclusive patterns that are only available on Crazypatterns right here in this thread.

Dear users, dear authors,
The days are getting longer, and it’s not quite so pitch-black in the mornings anymore. That’s wonderful, and it also means that spring—and eventually summer—will arrive after all. To make sure you have enough suitable clothing and, of course, gorgeous decorations for the most beautiful season of all, you can discover great + exclusive patterns here in this thread (= they are only available on Crazypatterns and nowhere else), download them right away as PDFs using your store credit, and get started.

@Exclusive Authors
please share suitable patterns here. The limit of 2–3 patterns per author does not apply in this thread.
Please don’t forget to include a link and an image, as well as the usual details about the technique, difficulty level, materials, and what makes the pattern special.

Please post only exclusive patterns by exclusive authors here.
If you’ll soon be exclusive but would like to participate now, please send me a private message.

Here are a few patterns from my collection
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/users/view_collection/1207/Sommerliches

Striped cotton short-sleeved cardigan

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Stripes are totally on trend. With a top under this comfortable-to-wear cotton short-sleeved jacket, you’ll be wonderfully dressed both at work and in your free time. And
if it’s a bit cooler, a thin turtleneck can also be worn underneath.

The PDF pattern is illustrated on 23 pages.

These knitting skills will be enough:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting stitches together,
yarn over, emphasized decreases and increases from the strand between stitches (explained with pictures).

Difficulty level: intermediate

We need  a total of approx. 450 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl) for sizes S to L, 100% mercerized cotton, label information: 50 g – 125 m length, needle size 2.5 – 3.5, 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm with the following color distribution:

  • Blue 100 g
  • White 100 g
  • Dark green 150 g
  • Light green 100 g

Depending on the size, more or less leftover yarn will remain from each skein.
Used here: knitting needle size 3.5, 3 stitch holders and 1 cable for placing stitches on hold,
stitch markers and row counter (not strictly necessary), pins for blocking, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends.

Crochet Möbius collar 1-2-3-4

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This collar wonderfully jazzes up sweaters and shirts.
It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with a length of 50 g – 160 m and needle size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and can be finished quickly in an afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.

However, other yarns with a suitable needle size can also be used. In my opinion, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting. For the illustrated PDF pattern , basic crochet skills are enough (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

Summer top with cowl neck, quick to knit

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Summer top with the unusual collar is quick to knit.

The download also includes an Excel spreadsheet for converting your individual gauge. For this you will need Excel or LibreOffice; the latter is available for free download on the internet.

The PDF pattern is illustrated, but it is not a basic knitting course (link for basic knitting techniques included).

These knitting skills are required:

casting on stitches, purl and knit stitches, yarn over, knit stitches  together, slip-slip-knit style decrease (explained), increase from the strand between stitches, bind off stitches.

We need for sizes S/M/L:
300 g cotton (blend) ribbon yarn, Keiki by Austermann used here, 63% cotton, 37% polyamide, for needle size 5 – 6, gauge according to label 16 stitches x 23 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, 50 g – 90 m. Pins for blocking, measuring tape, yarn needle for sewing in ends, scissors, row counter helpful. Used here: knitting needle size 5.0.

Women’s hat VIOLETTA - crocheted from raffia

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Well hatted - ready for summer..with a crocheted hat made from “paper” - THE summer trend of 2016. The cellulose material (= raffia) is feather-light, can be “scrunched” into any bag, and is even washable by hand.  Rafia “yarns” are either raffia or viscose, depending on the manufacturer. Of course, other yarns can also be used for crocheting.

General basic crochet skills for crocheting in rounds are sufficient. The PDF pattern is illustrated step by step for a head circumference of 52 cm to 55 cm and can easily be adapted for a larger head circumference (described in the pattern). Also included are a summary for printing as well as links and tips for beginners.

We need:
approx. 85 g (= 4 skeins of 25 g each) Rafia (Adriafil), 100% cellulose (wood pulp), hand wash, 25 g – approx. 50 m length, for crochet hook size 4.5 – 5.0, used here: crochet hook size 4.5; if you crochet tightly, choose a thicker crochet hook (5.0), if you crochet very loosely, use a thinner crochet hook (4.0), measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends, possibly a narrow velvet ribbon approx. 110 cm long.

Knitted shirt/sweater “ALGARVE”

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This is my favorite sweater, especially in the transitional seasons and on cool summer days/evenings.

Two in one pattern: sleeveless long shirt, ideal for leggings, and with sleeves, a cotton sweater knitted in a simple lace pattern . Due to the pattern, it comes out as ONE SIZE for women’s sizes 38 - 44. Smaller sizes can wear it as “oversized.” Weight gains and losses are therefore no problem.

Required materials:
300 g (without sleeves) / 550 g (sweater) Austermann Algarve (100% cotton; 50 g – 142 m) for needle size 2.5 – 3.5; here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, row counter helpful but not strictly necessary. Gauge according to label: 27 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

The PDF pattern contains the images from the image gallery (see above); due to the simple cut, no additional images are included. Basic knitting skills are required, including yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, slip-slip-knit style decrease (explained).

The thick scarves can stay in the closet now. But a shawl around the neck and
shoulders is still comfortable. A stole made from lightweight
lace yarn is ideal for this.

A mix of patterns is used to knit the stole, so the project never
gets boring. If you have basic knitting skills, this project is suitable for
beginners.

This airy tunic looks great in any season, even with a shirt underneath. The fresh colors already remind us of the spring flowers that will soon be blooming.

The tunic is easy to knit even for beginners with basic skills—knitted in one piece from the bottom up. Everything is explained in detail with photos. The pattern is for sizes 38–42. The measurements can be easily adjusted to any size.

Bully the little elephant is also looking forward to summer and has already taken his swim gear (swim ring and little sailboat) out of the closet. Together with a few seashells and some sand or a lighthouse, Bully makes a lovely decoration for your summer display table. He’ll be especially cuddly if you crochet him using plush yarn. (You’ll find tips on this in the pattern.) But you can also use acrylic yarn.
