These little colorful, cheerful baskets will enchant you. They have a sturdy base (with a CD inserted inside, though you can’t see it) and shape-retaining handles, so they keep their beautiful form. Measuring about 17 cm in height and about 15 cm in
diameter, they’re ideal for giving children little gifts, collecting Easter eggs, or decoratively storing hair clips and other favorite little items in a child’s room.

What materials do we need?
  • "Katia Peques for Baby" (232 m/50 g) or another yarn with the same yardage, of which:
  • 35 g in the main color for the base and handles, and
  • 3 x 5 g in other colors (leftover yarn is fine too)
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 1 CD as an insert for the base
  • 1 piece of plastic for the handle
Which stitches are crocheted?
  • chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, cluster stitches, slip stitches
Here is the crochet pattern for the small colorful basket
I hope you enjoy crocheting it – Ina

Who says a storage basket always has to be a basket? It can also hang decoratively on the wall ... and you can even carry it filled from room to room if you want to browse through it together with your sister. Also a wonderful idea to give as a birthday gift. Maybe already filled with some glitter jewelry—children will love that.

It not only looks especially pretty, but also offers plenty of space for all kinds of hair clips, ponytail holders, earrings, etc. The crochet pattern is very well suited for beginners, since everything is shown in detail. We crochet chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet.

Materials:
  • 400 g cotton "Catania Grande"
  • Crochet hooks size 4 and 4.5
  • 1 wooden hanger with bar
  • Darning needle, scissors
  • Individual items for decorating: borders, lace, buttons, flowers, beads, hair clips, and other decorations
  • the crochet pattern for the flower in the photo is included.
Here is the crochet pattern for the pretty hanging storage basket.
I hope you have lots of fun crocheting - Yours, Ina

Easter is just around the corner - so today there’s a very quick-to-knit version of an Easter basket!
This construction requires no weaving in ends at all!

A detailed, fully illustrated pattern guides you step by step to the finished basket.
In addition to a detailed description, you’ll also find a chart for guidance.

After the holidays, it also looks lovely as a bread basket on the breakfast table on the patio!

For more details, simply click on the image below.

Baskets are truly versatile, and you can design them however you like.

Here I have a storage basket for you that you can also add color to. It is crocheted with textile yarn, so it works up very quickly. You’ll also learn a great pattern that can be used in many different ways.

Here you can find the pattern and more information: Crochet Pattern Basket

And these two baskets are also made from textile yarn and work up quickly.

You can never have too many storage baskets! Whether as a yarn basket for your current crochet or knitting project, as a bread basket on the breakfast table, or simply for storing all kinds of odds and ends - they’re simply practical and decorative.

To make your choice just a little harder ;-) I’d like to present 3 more beautiful designs here:

Storage Basket "Sammelsurium" in 7 sizes and 2 versions - "feminine" and "straight"

This textured pattern looks sophisticated, yet it’s very easy to crochet. All you need is some cotton yarn, a matching crochet hook, and a little ribbon for decoration - and you’re ready to get started! That is, of course, assuming you can decide between the two versions, "feminine" and "straight" ;-)
The baskets are crocheted using only single crochet, slip stitches, and double crochet, and with the included crochet chart, even beginners with a little prior experience will quickly see success!

So go for it! You can find the pattern here >>>

----------------------------------

For a little more of a challenge, I have this storage basket with a sophisticated relief lattice pattern for you!
For this, in addition to the "regular" basic stitches, you’ll also need relief double crochets and crab stitches - but don’t worry, both are described in the pattern and are also supplemented with a crochet chart here.

Here’s the pattern >>>

----------------------------------

And finally, I’d like to recommend this pretty little basket to you. With its sophisticated relief stitch pattern, it’s a real eye-catcher and ideal for serving little treats in.
Of course, the pattern also includes a description of the more challenging stitches, as well as a crochet chart that explains the pattern in detail.

And you can find the pattern here >>>

Have fun making them! :-D

This really holds a lot! Thanks to the special crochet stitches, it’s also very sturdy—without any wire or anything similar. The basket is just under 20 x 20 cm wide and a good 10 cm high. For your yarn stash, as a fruit basket, for Easter breakfast, in the bathroom ... crochet yourself a whole supply of this useful storage basket ♥

It is crocheted with a cotton blend yarn (57 m per 50 g) and a size 4.5 crochet hook—so the basket will be finished in no time. The detailed crochet pattern includes numerous close-up photos, so even crochet beginners can succeed quickly :-)

This pretty fabric basket is quick to sew and absolutely beginner-friendly. It’s easy to make from two pieces of (scrap) fabric, felt, or oilcloth. And the best part: the pattern is a FREEBOOK!

On the Christmas or Easter table as a little gift basket, or as an egg basket on the breakfast table, the star basket really shines: It can be used in all kinds of ways depending on your choice of fabric and material, and I’d be very happy to see pictures of sewn star baskets!

Difficulty level
The star basket is part of my little blog series "Sewing for Lazy People":
Not much effort for cutting and pre-pressing, just a few straight seams,
a decorative stitch can be used if needed: even someone who
has only just bought their first sewing machine can manage it!
Just in case, the sewing pattern has plenty of pictures and explains step by step how to get to the finished result.

Variations
A sewing pattern is included, but for experienced sewists (so after sewing the star basket 2 times at the latest), it’s no problem to sew the star basket in any size you like—I’m still dreaming of
an XXXXL star basket as a toy box myself!
The choice of material can also create completely different looks: For example, a star basket made from thicker felt is also possible, which can then be sewn
super easily in a single layer—get creative!

Very nicely designed, Ina!
However, I added button-off tabs to my storage basket so it can also be washed.

Have you ever heard of the Planned Pooling technique?
No? Then take a look at the Anguis storage basket ;)

This technique is ideal for hand-dyed sock yarn with medium-length color repeats.

Anyone who likes to play around a little with yarn and colors will have a lot of fun with pooling. However, pooling can be achieved with almost any hand-dyed sock yarn if you change the hook size. You can even achieve it with commercially dyed yarn if you choose yarn with even color sections.

This pattern is ideal for beginners, since you only need two simple basic stitches and a little patience to get a quick and beautiful sense of achievement.   What do you need to know?

  • chain stitches or magic ring
  • single crochet stitches
All of this is included:
  • suitable for beginners
  • written crochet pattern
  • pattern is illustrated
  • one size - size can be individually adjusted in just a few steps
  • detailed chart for the increases is written out in an additional step
You need these materials at home:
  • 1 skein of Wollmeise Twin (80% wool / 20% polyamide) in the color “Xaverl”
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook, or 2–4 mm
  • wooden button (2 cm diameter)
  • scissors
  • yarn needle
  • stitch marker
