Hello everyone,
this is the thread for Carnival grouches. Here you can share or discover relevant patterns. This thread is exclusively for serious patterns that have nothing to do with Carnival. :-)

While others are funny at the push of a button, why not do a bit of crocheting instead

Both patterns are suitable for beginners, as they are very well described and illustrated, and quick to make! So they’re the perfect patterns to help you while away the Carnival days! Both table runners are crocheted using Schachenmayr Catania and a 3.5 mm hook!

Watching the broadcast on TV while knitting—for example, these little baby socks—is great. Leftover yarn is enough. And the simple heel on these socks makes them a pleasure to knit.

This collar wonderfully jazzes up sweaters and shirts.It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and can be finished quickly in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.

Other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, however, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.For the illustrated PDF pattern you only need basic crochet skills (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.
