today is a good day. There’s a lot you can get done today. Of course, I’ve ordered some sunshine again—this time specifically for everyone who didn’t get any yesterday or the day before. The weekend isn’t far off. :-)

I (actually) need to take advantage of this moment while my little one is lying NEXT TO me—and not ON top of me—to fold some laundry… I’ve finished the first basket, now I’m treating myself to 5 minutes with my phone and a cup of coffee, and then I’ll get back to it.

The sun is shining—thank you so much, dear Josefa—and it’s freezing outside.

Later, I’ll try to finally finish writing up three patterns ... it won’t do to have them "just lying around all finished" ;)

This afternoon we might go ice skating, but it’s not definite yet.

If that doesn’t work out, I have the same plan as yesterday and the day before: finish the hat for my friend. But since I’m still at odds with it (the hat, not my friend) and there are a few other handicraft projects lying around, I don’t think I’ll finish it anytime soon.

Plus, I’ve already had another request for one of those corner-to-corner crochet blankets. I only mentioned in passing that I’d like to try it, and now my dear relatives are bombarding me with their motif requests.
So I definitely want to try that too.

Buuuut: it’s so bitterly cold that not even my dog wants to go outside. I’m really ready for spring to come now... ;-)

I’ll be working on my crafts starting this afternoon; before that, I’ll take care of some computer work—writing patterns, creating charts, etc. Just the “daily grind,” as they say. ;-)

The sunshine hasn’t arrived here yet. I don’t have to start until 2 p.m. today. But I’m heading into Hamburg now anyway. I need a few sewing supplies, and after that I’m meeting up with a friend who has an appointment in Hamburg this morning.
So the day’s starting off relaxed, and we’ll see how it goes from there.

Attempt number 3 with my hat didn’t work out yesterday either, so tonight I’ll start attempt number 4.
We’ll see whether I finally end up with a hat I like—or if the yarn gives out from all the unraveling.
