The eggs won’t stay warm in this holder, but they do look pretty together.
Whether for Easter or just because - this practical 6-egg holder shows them off nicely and, if needed, can be put away in one go.

The egg holder is made of cardstock and measures approx. 13 x 11 x 14 cm. It’s very easy to make and is well suited even for craft beginners with little experience.

These cute little sheep egg cozies not only keep your breakfast eggs warm for a long time, they’re also guaranteed to be an eye-catcher on any breakfast table! They’re also ideal as a gift :-)

    What you need:
    • approx. 15g yarn (it’s best to use craft yarn made from 100% cotton; this will make the egg cozies nice and sturdy. Of course, you can also use any other yarn) in white or brown, suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. Leftover yarn in green.
    • Darning needle and scissors
    • A little stuffing for the head
    • 3mm crochet hook.
    • Googly eyes and superglue
To give the little sheep a better woolly look, I crochet with “crochet bobbles.” I explain these to you at the beginning of the pattern and illustrate everything with pictures. This way you’ll understand this technique very quickly ;-). All the other steps are also illustrated and explained with lots of pictures. This makes the pattern easy for everyone to understand (even beginners).
The egg cozies are crocheted exclusively in single crochet. You should know the basic crochet techniques: increasing and decreasing stitches, making a magic ring, single crochet.
    Here’s the pattern

    Have fun crocheting it!

Eddie the Octopus is a sweet and always cheerful sea creature who has a great fondness for eggs. He loves to keep them nice and warm in his tentacles, and if you ask him nicely, he’ll surely give them back.

The Eddie egg cozy can hold up to eight eggs—two per tentacle. It can also be crocheted with just three tentacles (= 6 eggs) or with up to six tentacles (= 12 eggs).

The crochet pattern is easy for beginners to follow, as the detailed step-by-step instructions are accompanied by many pictures.

You’ll find crocheted sheep egg cozies from me. If you don’t want egg cozies, you can also turn them into shelf sitters. How to do that is described very simply in the pattern:

What would Easter be without Easter bunnies? Or without those hardworking chickens? Here, you can crochet them as egg cozies for your breakfast table. They’re also very popular as little gifts during the Easter season! You can whip them up in no time using a few pieces of leftover yarn. You can find the patterns here:
Easter bunnies or here: Hen and Rooster

Spring is just around the corner! And with it come the first early bloomers. Who doesn’t love them? Those first splashes of color after the long, gray winter?
For everyone who would like to bring spring into their home, I have these egg cozies “Daffodils”.
They are quick to crochet from a few bits of leftover yarn and the right crochet hook, and they’re an eye-catcher on any breakfast table, not just at Easter ;-)

Here you can find the pattern for the “Daffodils” egg cozies

    -----------------------
And for anyone who likes things a little funnier and crazier, I have the “Cheeky Breakfast Monsters”.
They are just as easy and quick to make, and they get their very own character from just a few small details. They make breakfast fun! :-D

You can find the pattern for the “Cheeky Breakfast Monsters” here.

    Have fun making them! :-D

“Sunnyboy” egg cozy...from the ski slopes to your breakfast egg...
    https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/21758/gehaekelte-eierwaermer-sunnyboy-skipistenlook-auf-dem-fruehstueckstisch

...“Prince Charles” model..a royal bonnet for your breakfast egg...
    https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/21759/eierwaermer-prinz-charles-haekelanleitung

..and if Charles is there, Queen Mum naturally can’t be missing :-)
    https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/22464/eierwaermer-queen-mum-haekelanleitung

All patterns are easy to make—the most challenging one here is Queen Mum, because you have to sew together and decorate a few pieces. But in itself, it’s all no problem and well explained.
The Sunnyboys are, true to their nature, super-easy guys; anyone who’s just doing their first needle practice can really manage them.-)

Everything can be crocheted with leftover yarn.

    Have lots of fun!

    Best regards
    Monika from DKG
