Dear users and authors,
if you’d like, you can write down here what you’d like to get done today—whether it’s crafts, household chores, or something else. You might even find a friendly user who can motivate you if you need it. Have fun :-)
Today is a great day to get a lot of things done. :-)
Good morning,
I have to head to the doctor right now.
I’ve lost 7 kg since September without doing anything. At 50 kg and 1.70 m tall, I’m just plain ugly now. And since that’s not normal, I’m heading there right away. I’d have preferred to sleep in, though.
Then I’ve got some laundry and housework waiting for me, and tonight I want to cook dinner for my husband. But since I only have one day off this week, the day will be pretty laid-back. My sewing machine is waiting for me.
Interestingly, I have hypothyroidism and have been on the right medication for a long time now. And my last test result from two months ago was fine. Well, we’ll see.
My big goal today is to help my son understand two-digit division. And also to go through the rest for his school math test. He’s willing, but it just hasn’t clicked for him yet.
Then I’d like to finish 2 UFOs today. One only needs the finishing row, and the other needs to be sewn together.
@Arni
Keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything is OK and that you can start gaining weight again soon.
Pe-Ka: thanks,
well then, good luck studying math
I just decided that tonight we’re having sliced meat Zurich style with potato rösti. I’m curious, I’ve never made rösti myself before. :-)
-After my lunch break, get everything done at work that needs to be done today so I can leave right on time at 5 p.m.
-Go to the gym and train hard
-Cook something good and healthy (and of course eat it too ;))
-Sort folders
-Do laundry
-Sew together the individual pieces of my bunny and embroider the face
-Finish a hat
-Translate my cowl pattern
Now that I see the plan in black and white in front of me, I get the impression I’ve taken on too much ;)
Due to a migraine, some of the things I planned to get done today won’t happen. The tablet is helping, but it also has some side effects, such as skin sensitivity and joint pain.
But I can still sit at the computer and work on a pattern. So that’s what I’m focusing on today. ;-)
@Arni... I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything is okay. I went through that once, too — I ate and ate and still lost weight. Unfortunately, at some point, it turned into the opposite *sigh*
I still have to do a big grocery shop, and unfortunately yarn isn’t on the list.
Instead, along with food and drinks, I need to get football boots and a steerable sled.
Because it’s so lovely, we’re currently being buried in a wave of snow, and because my super-stylish little runabout has hardly any safety buffer, I’d rather wait until the big car is back home.
And then there are still 15 minutes of exercise on the schedule. And then... then I’m going to take a really hot bath and sit down on the sofa in front of the wood stove with my crochet hook!
My day, very briefly:
- little sleep last night (viral flu), so I woke up very tired at 6:30 a.m.
- breakfast for my child and husband (and of course for myself too)
- drove my child to school
- took my sick note to the post office (yes, I still have to report in to my employer - I’d rather be doing that myself, but what can you do...)
- then I had a little time to crochet, namely on my pattern for the campaign
- slept a lot, slept a lot, slept a lot
and now I can’t sleep when everyone else is asleep, just great....
So my day today was not very productive, but very restful ..... but with the flu, well
