Short Pattern for a Women's Knitted Vest with Mohair



This vest is knitted with two strands at the same time, weighs only approx. 300 g, and fits over any blouse or sweater – basically for any season, and of course for spring too.

The pattern contains the images from the image gallery and is written in text form. It is written for size 36/38, but can very easily be adapted to larger sizes. How to convert the
gauge to individual measurements is described.

These knitting skills are required:
cast on stitches and bind off, knit and purl stitches, simple cabling (described), edge stitches, knit stitches together, increases from the strand between stitches.

We need:
200 g 4-ply sock yarn (e.g., Schoeller+Stahl Fortissima Mexiko Color 60% virgin wool, 25% bamboo, 15% PAM) as well as 100 g Kid Silk by Austermann (75% kid mohair, 25% silk, 25 g – 225 m for needle size 3-4 according to the ball band), knitting needle size 6.0, cable needle (auxiliary needle), measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends, row counter is helpful.
