it’s very easy to knit, and the stitch pattern isn’t difficult because it repeats over and over. Use thick yarn in your favorite color and matching knitting needles, and soon you’ll have a new garment that no one else has exactly like this—
truly your very own piece!

Even though it’s still the depths of winter, spring will be here sooner than you think!
That’s why now is exactly the right time to knit yourself a Swoncho!
A Swoncho? Yes, exactly! A Swoncho is the perfect combination of a sweater and a poncho.

Thanks to the attached cuffs, practically nothing can slip out of place, and your wrists stay warm at all times, so your hands won’t get cold. A Swoncho like this is ideal for the transition from winter to spring.

Materials needed:

• approx. 400 grams of “Lippenbekenntnis” Best of by Schoppel (420 m / 100 g) or a similar yarn with the same yardage
  
• circular knitting needle 3.5–4.5 (I recommend a cable system such as Knitpro, because toward the end there will be a lot of stitches on the needle and you will need a very long cable)
  
• 9 stitch markers (8 for the raglan lines and one for the end of the round)
  
• sewing needle for weaving in the ends
  
• measuring tape
  
• a piece of scrap yarn for the provisional cast-on
  
• crochet hook for the provisional cast-on
  
• if necessary, a set of double-pointed needles in size 3.5–4.5

I designed the Swoncho for sizes 40–44, but it can be adjusted individually for any size.

A super-fast knitted poncho is "Siria". 
Siria is knitted as a rectangle and crocheted together on one side. The highlight is a cable pattern and knotted-in fringe.

Materials needed

• approx. 350 grams of MyBoshi “Flow” or another yarn in a corresponding weight (approx. 900 meters of yarn)
• size 7 knitting needles
• 2 stitch markers
• size 7 crochet hook
• scissors

We’d also like to introduce you to a wonderfully lightweight poncho that is still very warm thanks to the camel hair.

The technique is basically kept simple—but the small cable edging adds the perfect finishing touch!

The snowmen worked in beading technique also look very lovely and at the same time serve as weights, ensuring a clean drape.

I really like anything fashionable that is flowing, figure-skimming, and elegant—that's why this summer poncho is my absolute favorite. Of course, it’s not just for summer, but because it is quite light and airy, I named it that. Indoors, you can of course wear it in all other seasons too. This one is quick and easy to knit using 700 g of “Olympia” by Lana Grossa, with 54% virgin wool, and size 8 needles. Over 20 pages, I’ll show you step by step how it is knitted. The pattern is also very well suited for knitting beginners.

Simple Crochet Poncho with Möbius Scarf Collar (Loop)

Quick and easy to crochet...
With this crochet technique, you can decide how big you want the poncho to be as you go—simply stop crocheting when you’re happy with the size, and do the same for the matching Möbius loop .

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn (100 g – 100 m) and a size 8.0 crochet hook.

The PDF pattern includes instructions for both the poncho and the Möbius scarf and is illustrated , but it is not a crochet course in itself.
The following crochet skills are required: chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you’ve worked appears mirrored—that is, one horizontal half looks like the right outer side, while the other half looks like the left inner side of the pattern. This creates sophisticated effects depending on how the scarf is draped and how the pattern falls.

Feather-Light Knitted Poncho/Stole – Very Easy

This is a quick pattern for a feather-light poncho in one size that is very easy to knit, using just 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann). The pattern includes the preview image.

These knitting skills are sufficient:
casting on, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, bind off.

By the way: The poncho can also be knitted as a warm outdoor poncho using thick yarn, 100 g - 100 m, with 8.0 mm needles. Required yarn quantity approx. 700 g. The number of stitches always depends on your individual gauge. In my Shop there is an Excel spreadsheet for automatically converting gauge to the desired size: Gauge Conversion Table - Knitting and Crochet.

Cozy yet elegant – it really works! The ART DECO cape goes just as well with jeans as it does with a little black dress. The colors of the NORO yarn shine especially beautifully when set against deep black. By the way, the cape is much easier to knit than the result might suggest :-)
