This bag is my absolute favorite.

With a beautiful glitter yarn, this bag looks a little elegant.
Simply use plenty of colorful yarn and the bag becomes a stylish
and modern bag for spring, or one that will make children's hearts leap.

Crochet pattern for a glittering bag (25x20 cm)

Materials
  • ONEline Linie 175 Saphier (double strand) approx. 200 g
  • Crochet hook 3.5 mm (or as desired)
  • Bag base (made of leather or another material for stability, approx. 21x8 cm); the bag base is also available ready-made, but can also be cut from leather
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
  • Decorations of your choice (pretty buttons)
  • Key rings with carabiners for the bag handles—you may already have some at home if you like keychains
What you will make/use (pattern includes a “small” crochet tutorial)
  • Chain stitch
  • Slip stitch
  • Single crochet
  • crocheting in rounds
  • crocheting in rows
  • Double crochet
Have fun crocheting.
I'm always happy to answer any questions.
Yours, Dorigurumi

My favorite bag from last year:

The practical mochila with funny owl motifs is a real eye-catcher, no matter whether you carry it in the city, at the office or school, on a walk, or to the swimming pool.

Crocheting these great bags is easy to learn and is also suitable for beginners, because only single crochet stitches and a special crochet technique are needed. This pattern is written in great detail. The 13 pages include both a chart for the bottom and a chart for the complete side panels.

The bucket bag is crocheted from thin cotton yarn with 125 m / 50 grams. You will need 6 different colors of your choice. The finished bag measures approx. 22 cm in diameter and 35 cm in height, offering space for all your important essentials when shopping, for the office or for a stroll through town, and it is also perfect for small purchases. Each mochila is its own little work of art, a unique piece made by your hands. With the colors and motifs you choose, each bag can be given its very own lively character. That makes it something very special...your new favorite piece

Already thinking about your next vacation?

You can with this great bag featuring a palm tree sunset motif. It’s guaranteed to put you in a vacation mood while crocheting. And if you get started now, you’ll have the ideal vacation companion by summer.

Crocheting these great bags is easy to learn and also suitable for beginners, because all you need are single crochet stitches and a special crochet technique. This pattern is written in great detail. The 11 pages include both a diagram of the base in the shape of a sun and a counting chart for the palm trees. For the bag, you’ll need 600 meters of gradient yarn in sunset colors (of course, the background can also be crocheted from solid-colored cotton), as well as black cotton and a crochet hook in the matching size. The finished bag measures approx. 20 cm in diameter and 30 cm in height, offering space for all your important essentials when shopping or visiting the swimming pool, and because it is very sturdy, it is also perfectly suitable for a small grocery run. These crocheted bags, known as Mochilas, have developed into trendy cult items in recent years. A Mochila goes with every outfit—from casual business style to a summer dress, whether shopping in the city or sunbathing by the water. Each bag is a handmade one-of-a-kind piece, and that’s what makes it so special.

We can make bags ourselves too...

And as we all know, they’re related to shoes... in other words, pack animals ;-)

That’s why we’ve put together a few ideas for you.

Oh yes, bags are a great topic. You always need them! Everyone needs them! That’s why you can never have enough of them. Today, I have a recommendation for little girls: a small crocheted heart-shaped bag. I think it’s absolutely adorable. Little dolls or other treasures can be carried around in it. Measuring about 21 x 11 x 11 cm, it’s perfect for little hands.

It’s crocheted using 100 g of Bravo yarn in pink and 50 g of Bravo yarn in white with a size 3.5 crochet hook. The bottom is double-layered and reinforced with interfacing, so it’s nice and sturdy and doesn’t sag. There’s an extra pocket on the back. The pattern is also very well suited for crochet beginners, since I show and explain everything in detail.

I can also easily imagine crocheting this bag for grandchildren at Easter and then hiding little surprises inside it. After they’ve eaten the candy, they’ll still have the bag to play with :-)

I hope you enjoy making it - Ina

As my second recommendation for an absolutely adorable bag, I’d like to warmly recommend this one to you. It’s a small colorful bag that you can crochet in the colors of your choice. In the photo right now, it has a Christmas feel, and of course it’s very well suited for that. But if you crochet it in pastel colors, it becomes the perfect bag for your child or grandchild at Easter. You could hide Easter eggs and small gifts in it. And long after the sweets have been eaten, you can still enjoy the bag for a long time.

You need approx. 80 g of Bravo yarn; leftover yarn would also work. The bag has an ideal size of 20 x 9 x 19 cm (measured with
handle). The base is sturdy and doesn’t sag. The crochet pattern is suitable for beginners.

I hope you enjoy the pattern - Yours, Ina
