Here’s the beginner-friendly crochet pattern for the popular Scoodie Loop .

When it gets really, really cold, this cozy hat is simply a must-have! It’s knitted flat in rows, which means you don’t need a set of double-pointed needles. You also don’t need to calculate the number of stitches for the circumference. Just keep knitting until the piece fits around your head, then bind off the stitches.

Materials needed:

• 50 grams of yarn (approx. 125 meters, e.g., MyBoshi Flow or similar thick yarn)
• 7 mm circular knitting needle
• 2 stitch markers
• Yarn needle
• A small amount of leftover yarn for the provisional cast-on
• 7 mm crochet hook

A warm, cozy baby hat with mittens, knitted on two needles. This warm hat with mittens knits up quickly, and the mittens keep little hands nice and warm.
For ages 0–3 months. This also makes a lovely little gift to bring on your first visit to see a newborn.

You’ll need two size 5 needles and Gründl yarn for needle sizes 2.3–3, simply doubled up.

It’s also well-suited for beginners.

This sweet hat is knitted on two needles. Material: 50g yarn in the color of your choice; colorful gradient yarn turns out very nicely. 2 long needles size 3.5, 1 white cord, handmade from white yarn.
Very suitable for beginners.

prefer a scarf, you can also crochet one very easily with this

Materials needed for a loop scarf with approx. 60 cm circumference:

• 75 g yarn for hook size 4–4.5 (yarn for hook size 4–4.5 was used here, e.g. Magic Light by Ice Yarns, 360 m length/100 g)
• Crochet hook size 4

This great beanie is just right for cold days. Wearable by both women and men. The arrangement of the
different stitches creates this pretty pattern. The pattern
includes 3 sizes:

• HC 50 cm - 53 cm
• HC 54 cm - 57 cm

This knitted hat is just right for now. From a head circumference of 30 cm (preemie) up to 55 cm for adults, everything is included. For a child’s hat, 1 skein with 120 m yardage is enough.

Bunny Hat Crochet Pattern

Christmas is over, and there’s finally time again to crochet something for yourself.
How about the beautiful “Johanna” cowl?



It was made with a 4-ply gradient yarn cake with 750 m yardage and a 3.5 mm crochet hook, though I didn’t use the whole cake.

With the specified length, it can be wrapped wonderfully around the neck twice. 

The pattern is a nice change of pace for advanced crocheters; for beginners with a little experience, it’s a wonderful way to practice different types of stitches.

This collar wonderfully jazzes up sweaters and shirts.

It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3–4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and can be finished quickly in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.

Other yarns with a matching hook size can also be used. In my opinion, however, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting. For the illustrated PDF pattern basic crochet skills are sufficient (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

You can crochet this beanie in your favorite colors. Thanks to the numerous pictures and step-by-step instructions, the pattern is easy to follow and therefore suitable for beginners as well. The size of the beanie can be adjusted to fit any head circumference, so you can crochet it for both children and adults.
